looks like i need another ap as got 23 devices on this one and if the bit rate of one of the cams drops below 140 it keeps cutting off

you need a cloud key/ gateway to use them and for the cams you need one with hdd in it.

for a large warehouse id use one of these.

i have been using this stuff since they made there first access point that you use a pc to run the controller gateway on now its a cloud key or a dream machine is it all in one unit that you log in to via 192.168.0.7 ect

the g3 cam on the back the ap has to go through 2 solid concreate walls it kicks the virgin routers ass wifi wise as never used it.

even linus tech tips uses this at work and at home but it gets a bit limited if you want a 10gb switch but they did just release a nas

For cheap raid, I have a second hand hp DL380 with 10 x 2.5" sas drives. You can set the raid array to raid 5 or raid 10, dead easy on the DL380, just tick boxes with the mouse. I paid £125 on ebay for the lot. For wifi, I use a bunch of 1.3gb dual 5G sticks. They cost me £5 each. For remote access, I use tailscale. It's free. I run mostly dockers nowadays.

this stuff is like apple its all or nothing i cant even use a 3rd party switch cams nvr or anything or cant adopt it.

if you buy it through the company right it off the tax bill

Those are bl**dy expensive. I use a bunch of tapo cams. They cost peanuts. They record onto microSD but you can simultaneously record using their cloud storage or you pc using onvif protocol.
