cant make tech without gold and silver ;) but a line of coke with a 50 rolled up is all it is good for :p
Tried to buy a bike with cash, seller said "No £50 notes!"

Never tried the stuff, but a very old mate who's CEO for a big advertising company in New York, says his company is chock full of coke. Literally everyone is hoovering it up by the kilo. Big part of advertising culture, like Hollywood and the music biz. And the middle class in the UK. For something so illegal, it sure is widely available.

I wondered when someone would get around to doing that - those useless things at my local Tesco Express are held in by just four bolts into what I guess are rawplugs of some kind, into tarmac. Looks like an easy long crowbar job. Bloody useless.

I've seen the Lockpicking Lawyer use a hydraulic bolt cutter to cut through D-locks. Didn't take him long, as usual. Quiet too.

You could sell them back to extremely small Tesco branches.

There may be a way to repair using superglue?

Which bit snapped off exactly? Have you got a pic? I've had success thickening plastic parts, after glueing together using superglue, then superglue and fine grain bicarbonate of soda around the break - you can build it up in layers to add strength, then file off what you don't need. But if there's no room for added material for strengthening, that won't be possible. The fine grain stuff is sold everywhere, on the baking isle of supermarkets. Sets fast to everything, including your fingers of course; a hard plastic layer. That combination is hard to remove if you don't have acetate (which also dissolves some paints and plastics).

You could try the stronger superglue + graphite. Make graphite dust using emery cloth/sandpaper and a pencil.

Gawds. Maybe bore a hole through it (top down through the mushroom peg), fill it with superglue + graphite in layers, to form a solid core? Dunno. If that and nothing else works, glue it all together and accept it'll never move?
