I hate buzzing dimmer switches... and they always buzz in some way or other. Even if you can't hear buzzing emanating from the dimmer switch itself, you'll often hear buzzy interference when trying to watch TV or music through speakers or something. This has individual switches for each bulb, so you can use a bunch of cheap bulbs to gain a lot of light, or use more expensive and powerful bulbs for blindingly bright, allowing the switching of individual bulbs on and off as required. As you can see in the photo, additional splitters can be added to the arms. It's cheaper replacing cheapo E27 bulbs as they each expire, instead of one big expensive light of the same brightness. I can have 24W X 8 = 192W which is who the hell knows what incandescent equivalent. Brightens up my loft for sure...
