'Adversarial' search for neural basis of consciousness yields first results
Two rival theories about the basis of perception went head-to-head in neuroscience experiments, but advocates of "losing" idea aren't conceding yet

Both parties really need to sort out what conciousness is first. Thenthey might not miss the obvious as they have here:

"The results, which the team published in a 26 June preprint, were surprisingly mixed. When it came to decoding different categories of objects, the data provided strong support for GNWT. But when it came to decoding the orientation of faces, IIT was the better fit."

Wherever conciousness resides, other neurons will repurpose best they can to fulfill the same function, if a harpoon was driven through it, or if the brain's owner occupier had a stroke.

You could be right. Sell yours and get a Roland hybrid? They sound bloody clean, and although I love the Korg MS-20, to my ear Roland's noises have always sounded more in tune, the Jupiter 8 especially. There's no replacing the MS-20 for uncontrollable sub bass balminess. It's becoming harder to justify buying physical synths.

its not about gaming but file transfer speeds 25gbps is 2.5gb a sec so if a 4-8k video file is sent to the server to be edited later if they do it at 50mb per sec on a 10 tb raw video file its not a option and then times that from how many video editors he has it adds up fast.

he needs to get a building and put a custom built server array in to it but then each rack costs 1 million quid he cant afford it let alone pay for the electric.
