I know this may sound a bit petty, but can we try and stick to answering the title subject, rather than go off on a tangent and waffle on about things unrelated.

I've noticed this happening on a few threads. I'll bookmark an interesting thread with the intention of following it. Then get all excited on seeing another post on that thread :p only to see that it's gone way off subject.... Boo Hoo :(

Anyone else get narked at this or is it just me turning into Alf Garnett?

I don't understand string theory, can any one explain ? :cool:
Yes, it explains that anything we can't access to measure will be the length of a piece of string, as per this equation:

L = S(X - 42)

Where L is the length, S is the string, X is the unknown location of the object that cannot be accessed and 42 is the answer to life, the universe and everything.

Choosing a Friday afternoon in the middle of a bank holiday was probably the mistake, readers bound to be in a carefree mood!

The answer to how long is a piece of string is 'Twice the distance from the centre to either end'

Thread drift. I'm surprised he made it to 65, to be honest.
The size of him, his heart stood no chance.

Indeed Dave, in the later stages Richard Griffiths was ridiculously obese, he must have received many warnings but obviously chose to ignore them.

He was a good actor though, and will be missed. You only live once, life is short, so I'm all in favour of enjoying life whilst you are able......you never know what is around the corner.
