My immediate problem is my age. I need to find someone to takeover my job.
It's a part time job but still needs to be filled.
How about soundwave? If sales targets are met then a bonus could be paid with boxes of Walkers Cheese and Onion crisps and if targets exceeded then in addition to the crisps a library of porn mags could also be included as part of the employment contract. Fairly sure SW would find it very difficult to turn this offer down, it would also help keep those nasty so and sos at the job center off his back that are giving him such a hard time.

I seem to have met more genuinely shameless people than most, must have been the company I kept. Were they sociopaths or psychopaths? Sort of capturing, strapping them to chairs to conduct psychological tests, I can but speculate.
I cant help thinking about the piglets' gormless unaffected (in more than one sense, apparently completely unconcerned) demeanour. even if what's happening does not register on any ethical level, one would imagine its a massive PITA for the donors. And about what must seem his faux pass. Surely this must matter to him. It's one of his great strengths, I can well imagine a red wall voter perceive it as a solid sign of integrity.

Have a youtube ar starmers speech in hoc today. I may not like him, but he truly emphatically pulverised the piglet (before stepping publicly on what's left). It is one of the best speeches I've seen in hoc in years. He may well have what it takes to get (new) Labour in.
I agree it was one of the best speeches if not the best speech I have seen him make, did you notice how even the Conservatives were virtually totally silent while he was making it they were totally captivated. It's just a shame that with 80% of the press more or less against him, hardly anyone is going to hear about it.

From a Labour point of view they have a much better chance of winning the next election if they are up against BJ, but from a country point of view I think he needs to go as soon as possible. I think its fairly unlikely Boris will fight the next election, I think its far more likely to be Sunak.

Sunak has higher poll ratings than Stammer that wont go unnoticed by the powers that be in the conservative party, and it's extremely clear that he is giving very little support to Boris at the moment.

This is a pic of the latest ripe crown prince pumpkin, which I have drunk the delicious juice of. You can see it dripping with Zeaxanthin, which I hope will do my ill retinas some good. (Natural spring water fed)

I got a persistent throbbing and localised headache for 3 weeks.
I hardly ever have a headache, even when having a bad cold.
On the third day, the threat of a lumbar puncture cured it so they let me out. That or hospital food, I can't say for sure. One thing for sure, I over indulged during the Christmas and New Year holiday.
Me too - I haven't dare checked, but I think I've put on half a stone, which will be a literal pain in the ar%e to shed again. I wonder how sizable the post-Xmas heart attack, stroke increase is year on year? Were you tested for Covid?

Psychopaths are totally unfettered - it's tempting to try to understand them using ourselves as reference, but utterly incorrect. They genuinely possess no shame. Makes me envious sometimes...

Agreed I,m in dispute with suppliers at moment. Could cope with 3 months but 4 plus with no definite date makes logistics almost impossible. Had no issues at all with stuff from within EU??? (few bits and pieces from Germany, bulk from Slovenia and on stuff I deal with negligible price increase)
Giving up on Foil boards. Too expensive from France and not arriving from China?? No idea whats going on.??
Are you in the business of selling foil boards, or do you wear many out continuously foiling around up north on lakes and seas? If so, do they sell well?

Starmer vs Sunak: Starmer will win. He's taller. Historically speaking, the substantially taller lizard gets voted in.

I believe it's the lack of a written constitution to guarantee the rights of its citizens and the first past the post voting system that did that for us.
We live under the dictatorship of whichever party that dominates the HoC.
What would be the currency on a resource limited spaceship, on an infinite journey? For the good of all, it's unlikely to be dollars or pounds.

Well nadine dorries agrees with you
And if that isn't good enough, I don't know what is
I expect the "You're in league with peedos!", shock tactic to feature prominently in televised head to head Leader's debates, and all the way from now till the election - it's a tricky one to defuse or re-direct, the one exception to "There's no such thing as bad publicity".

Someone I know is on a waiting list for a lumbar puncture and selective frying of nerves, to treat sciatica. Sounds extremely risky to me, but she's in constant pain at the moment and not terribly mobile. Covid is of course, slowing down the administering of all manner of important treatments.

I was interested in retailing efoils. Got access to one for own use, have a foil board (home made!??) for behind boat and have windfoiled quite a bit. Personally now find them a bit calm, slow and not as dynamic as ordinary board sports. (especially so with windfoiling versus windsurfing)
But the thrill of riding efoils a couple of feet above water I suspect will become really popular. It does feel like snowboarding on powder. And the foil increases range /time by loads compared with powered (e or otherwise) wake boards. But, and at moment its a massive but, the price of efoils is simply crazy. (£12k???)Hence the Chinese enquiries but so far... not forth coming.
Don't think mass buying public will shell out jet ski prices for efoils and the windsurf market is really set in its ways. Kite foiling is massive in light wind regions but once its windy even they remove foils and kite surf.
Efoils need to get prices down to sub £4k...(retail) Not sure that's possible.

What about Vietnam? A legacy of their Communist era is the segmentation of cities into districts which specialise in making single products or components. For example, there's an entire district which makes nothing but mannequins, another which just makes pans, another for making table forks etc. A mate travelled there to get his windchime parts made in large numbers, because fewer Vietnamese speak Ingrish than the Chinese. I do know that the Vietnamese government are keen on making Vietnam the new Asian Tiger, and have helpful trade organisations who advise. Subsequent attempts at conducting business via email and phone fell flat. Seems nothing but being there with a translator will work well. It worked out cheaper in Vietnam than China, for my mate.

Much of the 12k cost is OG's patent royalty payment? ;)

Hmmm. That's not good. Especially if you rarely get even a normal headache!

Had you done anything different to normal? Banged you head? changed your diet? exposed yourself to something out of the ordinary ??

Looks and sounds lovely - I'd have been just another annoying tourist, snapping away with my camera, muttering in Japanese (which I'd have to learn, because I'm not Japanese) about F stops, exposures, camera firmware complaints etc. etc. Such narrow streets are a fire risk, have they learned nothing from the Great Fire of London? Did you feast later on, or was there a picnic basket full of delicious goodies? I suddenly feel like cycling to hills today.... (Glad you're not Pagan, there may have been mention of human sacrifice or something - bit of a mood killer [for non-Pagans])

Nice image and occasionally the sun does shine. That brown structure on the Right lower is King Johns Castle ...and is really big. This is the same King John who gave Robin Hood nightmares.

Banging my head remains the prime suspect but I can't remember. At least that's what the consultant thought.
Both my wife and I usually self isolate but we did meet up with family at Christmas. They later tested positive.
We thought we might have also caught Covid because we had some of the other cold like symptoms for a couple of weeks, persistent dry coughs, sore throat, noticeable reduction of sense of taste but still had sense of smell etc. No fever and my wife did not have a headache. So we did LFT tests which turned out negative, then PCR tests, again negative.
It does not matter now, our worries were an aneurysm. I am just glad that the headache went away when it did.

Well that's OK now.

Levelling up means we can all do the same as Boris and co. now, ignore the rules and lie if that's noticed.

No need for annual eye tests now either, just hop in the car and go for a 50 mile drive to see how we get on. I've got a couple of castles for that about the right distance away.

Funny that - I took it as meaning we would all be getting wallpaper allowances - so we could go and buy some of these products:
