You are the one that needs to do that, by trying to make out it is simply personal greed on my part.
Why does your twisted little mind do that?
I am concerned for everyone, not just myself, yet you two are unable to think in that fashion.
The period to the second jab affects us all and should not be left to chance.
Tell me, how do you come to a "scientific " decision with no evidence to support it?
You don't, you just take a chance and hope people fall for the notion that the person taking the decision's letters after their name somehow makes their blind guess better than the next man or woman in the street, especially if you are a politician and that decision gets you out of a hole you have dug for yourself.

Got that?
Think we should ask admin for a repeat imogi.. You, d have a few thousand of them by now.
You were wrong first time and repeating it doesn't change anything OG.

Even the Guardian now seeing EU at fault..
Amazing isn't it. The only 2 people in the world not critical of EU's roll out and actions with UK post on here.
The Guardian has very often criticised the EU and its members. Both as news and editorial as well as opinion pieces.

This should be fun
"The chapter on state-owned enterprises (SOEs) is unchanged, requiring signatories to share information about SOEs with each other, with the intent of engaging with the issue of state intervention in markets. It includes the most detailed standards for intellectual property of any trade agreement, as well as protections against intellectual property theft against corporations operating abroad "

"The UK government has not produced an impact assessment that explains or quantifies the benefits it expects for the UK economy from accession to CPTPP. As such, it is a matter of dispute in UK as to whether accession is worth pursuing for economic reasons. Farmer, environmental and consumer groups have all raised concerns that the UK government will need to agree to lowering standards on pesticides, pig welfare and food labelling. These concerns have also been raised by the Scottish government."

"And it's all done in the best possible haste"
With no doubt the usual results
And it appears that the USA might be getting ready to join...

The delay is a scientific decision. In any group of 1000 people, we either choose to give all 1000 a level of protection that will stop them dying or needing to go into hospital, or we protect 500 as above, plus from developing any symptoms like a sniffle and and let the other 500 take their chances, possibly die.

The above is based on some of the best vaccination capacity of any country in the world. Those are the options. The leading non political medical experts in the U.K. suggest vaccination of the entire 1000 group at the expense of delaying the second dose.

I agree with the medical experts. I disagree strongly with you. You are being a fool.
That would only make sense if each and every member of the entire group had exactly the same risk. Quite clearly, on known factors alone, that isn't true. And who knows in what ways we might eventually be able better to assess individual risk?

Alternative for Germany (German: Alternative für Deutschland, AfD) is a German nationalist and right-wing populist political party,[5] known for its opposition to the European Union[19] and immigration.[20] It is often characterized as being on the far-right of the political spectrum.[18]

As I have said previously, we each must choose who to take advice and information from. My choice is the leading non-political medical experts in the U.K.

I dismiss toilet man from Hull.

Hang on a bit, how come they had no ethical problems using chimpanzees?
Muslims say animals can be used, but there cannot be any animal component in the vaccine.

It's the animal rights brigade who won't allow any animal use.

I was not taking issue with your choice. Just with your argument as presented.

I believe the very rare side effects are confined to the Pfizer vaccine. I’m hearing that with the AZ product there is no reports of reaction, in fact you are allowed to leave immediately after the jab.
That is untrue as I now know with what I'm suffering after the first AZ jab.

I was allowed to leave immediately on condition that I was not driving. The reason for that soon became clear as I found it increasingly difficult to focus my mind.

With my jab at 9.20am, as that Friday wore on I suffered increasingly painful aching joints in addition and extreme exhaustion. Despite that tiredness I was unable to sleep that night, getting about an hour of of fitful sleep at the end of the night. On Saturday, the second day, those symptoms persisted all day, but I was able to sleep that night. Now on day three I still have some of the joint aching but it is reducing.

My friends in their 80s who have all had the Pfizer vaccine first jab have almost entirely had no reactions at all, the one exception having a sore arm for few hours at the injection site but nothing else.

I have never had any adverse reaction to a 'flu jab.

I have just posted that he is right! Far-right.

Regarding the ordering of vaccines, I think it is still difficult to be absolutely clear about why the current situation came about.
Ours or EU?
Ours because we reacted quickly, ordered vaccines prior to approval (actually pre trial)
EU delayed, discussed, procrastinated until trials and approval passed. (read the. Gov article about Kate Bingham)
Then EU try to cover up mistakes by blaming AZ (and to a lesser point blaming UK)
What folk forget is had AZ not passed approval EU would be in an even worse mess and that if UK gave up their entire stock of AZ, EU would still be well short.
The EU process for vaccinations is a complete disaster.
When are folk going to accept it.
As Jesus mentions had this situation been reversed folk on here would be clamouring to point out our failures, but as it is EU is still looked on as being competent. It is far from it. This vaccine debacle shows EU exactly for what it is. Useless.
People should see things as they are. Faults and all. EU have failed miserably on vaccines.

Ours or EU?
our case, hospitalisation and death numbers are still higher than the EU's average.
Let wait until ours beat theirs before congratulating our government.

Are you actually suggesting that the vaccine has been developed and approved recklessly with little regard for public safety? Rushed into distribution at the expense of public safety in order to make the government appear competent?
To a considerable extent that is what has happened, worldwide. Vaccines of this sort typically take around ten years to develop for total safety. These have been rushed out within a year with incomplete testings and now being risked as judged to be the lesser of two evils.

But it's a big gamble since we know nothing about whether there could be long term ill effects and don't even know if the vaccines will be effective beyond a very short period.

I have been keeping track of people who have had several Covid-19 vaccines - including Moderna and Sinopharm (as well as AstraZeneca and Pfizer).

Somewhere around 11-12% of those who have responded have had more of a reaction than expected (NHS considers the following possible symptoms to be normal: sore arm, feeling tired, achy, headache, feeling or being sick).

None has had a serious issue. Some have felt poorly for several days. A few Yellow Card reports have been put in. A rash has been reported a few times.

Advice - whether formal or gossip - consider taking an antihistamine an hour or so before getting a vaccine. Avoid alcohol for a few days before and anything from a few days to several weeks after.

Zoe has been collecting vaccination information:
