Some aspects of racism are definitely involved in Covid death rates. Members may remember the high death rates on London's bus drivers at the start of the epidemic with most being black. Hardly surprising when the proportion of the drivers being black is so high. Why so high is due in large part to the fundamental disadvantages in employment choice that black people suffer, in part often due to their lack of privilege and opportunities in earlier life. This in turn frequently caused by the thread of continuing latent racism that persists in our society.

I think they want you around for a short while after so If there's an adverse reaction they can epipen, cpr and get an ambulance pronto. It's not unusual and same is done for routine flu jabs etc. no conspiracy.

In our case nobody actually told us how long we should wait, most sat down for a couple minutes said things like "That'll do" and "I haven't time sit here in the hope of dying, I'll do it on the bus"
At which point we were left waiting more out of curiosity to see if anyone came to tell us "You can go now" No one did, I only stayed out of curiosity and looking back no one recorded when we went into the seating area.

My friends who've separately had the jabs were both told they should wait 15 minutes, but timing that wait period was left to them, though an area specifically for that was provided. Seems like your staffs weren't following the guidance in not telling you 15 minutes..

At a time like this we need the home secretary to take responsibility herself for this. At the very least she should be in parliament on Monday making a statement about this, explaining it, giving it the full facts and facing questions from MPs. That’s the least we should expect.”

Whenever I gave blood.. I was expected to hang around for the 20 minutes , now the tea and crisps were the hooks to keep me there. Unfortunately my blood sucking days are over as the cocktail of Statins, Anti Coagulants and blood pressure pills keep me on the sidelines. So I will have to go elsewhere for the tea, crisps and chocy biscuits!

Its pointless us all moaning about situation and then not actually criticising folk actually involved.

The outright number is part of problem. A few hundred correctly placed malevolent posts can proliferate through entire population of users. It's why it's so powerful.

I’m not talking about the thousands of half-wits tweeting from their Mum’s spare bedroom. Accounts exist which can be traced back to the Chinese state. They are deliberately spreading harmful information (anti-vaccine, anti-mask and anti lockdown) in a structured, organised and calculated way. They are doing a great deal of damage and it’s costing lives.

The WHO are now in China, but it’s not been easy. China have been difficult, obstructive, non-compliant and secretive. They are not an asset to the planet.

Am increasingly concerned by the extreme behaviour shown by EU customs agents. I have heard about a gun being drawn on one driver for not having documentation for empty boxes in his van. Completely against the UK-EU trade deal & is severely impacting our exports, including fish

Sorry old chap, but "I have heard" from a Conservative MP is inadequate as evidence, it is hearsay. Provide full details and proof of your inflammatory story you should not make allegations to inflame the situation on the basis of "I have heard"
