It's very obviously already happening and I've posted as such. And also evidence of, some not ever using the vaccicne they are getting or using it deliberately out of the prescribed order to advantage favoured people like NHS management.

I'm in London in the first health trust nationally to receive the Pfizer vaccine and have already posted that this is not true. In a priority group thsat was supposed to have it's first first jab before Xmas, I'm still waiting to be contacted. Meanswhile others have posted about those in the Midlands and North already having their jabs with a few even receiving their second already.

2 days before returning to school Boris Johnson insists schools are safe and children should return.
Later that afternoon Essex County Council says primary schools to remain closed until 18 Jan.
edit to add - Looks like Essex made the decision themselves for primary schools in Colchester, Tendring and Uttlesford which were meant to reopen Tuesday.
While awaiting a response from the DfE, Essex County Council advised schools to implement remote learning.

This early evening it's just been announced on London's BBC TV news that the first two London trusts to administer vaccine will begin tomorrow, neither of them my health trust who have been sitting on their stock of vaccine for fully a month.
So it appears everything we were told when watching the vaccine being stowed in the new German deep freezers at our Croydon University Hospital were lies. It seems it's not just the virus that's catching.
It's a repeat of the testing program, huge numbers claimed but delivery numerically woefully short or non-existent.

At this moment, I think we could understand (if not excuse), some unevenness on the basis of starting up a new system. But it should be reported and issues addressed as of Monday.
(I note Tesco has offered help in distribution. No idea of the financial aspects.)

I haven't seen or heard much from Nadhim Zahawi since he was put in charge of distribution late November, though he or his staff are busy on Twitter with congratulatory Brexit & tory puff and everything and anything vaccine related.
Ok, Probably not of interest in the grand scheme of Covid vaccination rollout but.....

Yes it is of interest, when I took my wife for her flu injection (she's 77) the nurse said to me "I haven't got one for you" I'm 76.
When I mentioned this to our pharmacist she wasn't impressed
"Roll up you sleeve she said!" and did it there and then.

Yes I think I might. Mom is a nightmare, "****ing Hitler didn't stop us going out partying, Bloody Covid isn't going to either". Me, I work from home, the only person I speak to face to face is the woman on the checkout at Morrisons each week. She even thought it was a good idea to jump on the back of my Bandit last week to grab some urgent shopping, fortunately I didn't have a spare helmet.
I love her to bits but Christ she does my head in sometimes.

Fishermen are acutely aware at how much a new boat costs and this wouldn't even cover renovating and modifying the ageing fleet of hulks we have now.
And of course there is the question, will the government even remember this promise in the five years it is supposed to happen?
And of course if I was a skipper and an old rival was given a new boat before me, would I be pleased about that?

It is incredibly hard to understand what Johnson gets from seeing a vaccine being given, live and in person, that would not be better viewed and safer on television.
Had I been offered a vaccination and asked if he could watch, I'd have refused. Even if it was not going to be photographed.
