Make Raab Minister of Dover.

...they will not move as they do not want to go to the back of the queue and cannot move anyway as the road is blocked in both directions. Central Dover is completely gridlocked.

Manston is now full - so there'll be some pressure on the authorities to get as many tests done as quickly as possible to clear space for any new arrivals.

If this has happened, the conclusion must be that they started testing drivers at, or towards, the back of the queue first? :D:D:D:D Why would anyone do that? Wouldn't even the most severely brain damaged official in this clown-cart country make sure those at the head of the queue were tested first in order to get them moving and out of the way.

I don't blame those at the front refusing to move. If they do, they are going to be pi$$ind in a coke bottle and $hitting in cling film until the new year. Can't they draft in Chris Grayling to get this Boris Johnson created mess sorted out? Oh, hang on a moment....

They couldn't get to the front of the queue because of all the lorries blocking their way.

Someone on Boomberg markets saying that the rumor in Brussels is that the UK has moved significantly in the last few hours, the chance of a deal is very likely from as early as today. Has anyone heard anything else?

Yes, the U.K. has caved in to every single EU demand and some more things as well. We now have a trade deal which significantly worse than the one we had, and it’s a magnificent victory for Boris Johnson. He’s pulled it off and got Brexit done, just like he promised to do.

Apparently we now have a new, new strain of Coronavirus and it’s more contagious than the new more contagious variant. It started in South Africa and two cases have been identified in the U.K.

Flights from South Africa are still arriving, and two identified cases probably means there are at least 2000 and it’s everywhere. If that’s not quite correct, it will be by Boxing Day. Clowns is now not a strong enough word.

I would advise everyone not to go outside for the next 5 years and if you're really lucky you might just dodge it....Happy Christmas :)
Sounds about right...

Hancock replies that he is "highly confident we will get things back to normal before 2022"

And that is the final question. Hancock wishes everyone a happy Christmas before scarpering from the lectern.

Latest is that there is a broad outline of a deal at this point and that the documents are about 2000 pages, with time being so critical I reckon we should get Iain Duncan Smith to read and approve it, sorry Nigel:cool:

If this new, more contagious than the more contagious virus is around, is it possible to catch it merely by talking about it? Will the next strain cause infection if you just think about it? Where is it going to end?

It's not a done deal yet, it must first be leaked to the Daily Mail for approval in the Reader's Comments section. Only then can the deal be ratified.

Why am I having to tell you this, have you learned nothing?
I shall get round there immediately to pour a little petrol on the bonfire, in my usual casual manner
