I can guarantee you that the bunch of clowns in charge over here will not have the infrastructure in place to store the quantities of vaccine required at a local level, and quite possibly at a national level too.
Or there will be extremely over-priced supercoolers in every pharmacy and GP surgery in the country - and we will end up using a vaccine that doesn't require anything more powerful than a domestic refrigerator. Look to cooler companies owned by Cummings and co. Or, indeed, any such companies even if they have never sold a single cooler of any sort.

Any normal deep freeze doesn't get anywhere near -70C.
There are multiple grades of Deep freezers from simple domestic to laboratory and a wide range for hospitals , some of which go to minus 150 C . And they are not really expensive ..I notice 2500 price tags in ones capable of the minus 70 C ,And with a capacity for a few weeks storage for small quantities. These are all problems, but really very minor in the scheme of things. .. unlike PPE ,they are CAPEX ,so very simple to requisition.

You don't know any of this. You are guessing. You are not an investigator.
No I do not know, I am observing, like you, and thinking about what I observe. However, which of the statements I have made have been demonstrated as untrue.?
1. I saw the live video feeds from count centres where reporters were showing squad cars protecting workers. Not edited reports .And the reporter stating that the police were escorting workers off site.
2. I read the report of a civil servant, who was alleged to have tampered with ballots, and his name and address and car registration put in line, and he now in hiding .. The allegation was false.
3. The video from Vhr of the incensed GoP observer was taken inside the building.
4. I have read plenty of postings by poll clerks and counting centre people detailing their practices and how the procedure is protected from fraud. Unlike the allegations, these contain names and detail.

Clearly the perception you have of yourself falls far short of reality, as you have proven on numerous occasions previously.

You can guarantee nothing. Now I don't know the clowns you are dealing with, but I have met some very decent competent UK Adminstrators, , University professors, police officers ,and very occasionally medical personnel. If they are given the lead role ,then you are in safer hands. If the political parties demand centre stage, then your problems will continue

First it was the Immigrants

Then it was the dead people

Lastly it was the pesky voters

The Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity (PEIC or PACEI), also called the Voter Fraud Commission, was a Presidential Commission established by Donald Trump that ran from May 11, 2017 to January 3, 2018. The Trump administration said the commission would review claims of voter fraud, improper registration, and voter suppression.

On January 3, 2018, two weeks after the court order instructing the commission to share its working documents with its Democratic members, the Trump administration disbanded the commission. The panel disbanded without any preliminary findings.

The obvious question is why he disbanded it?

Did they start to find evidence of voter fraud in the 2016 election? Had it identified lots of ways in which to allege fraud, should that be needed?

Seems like it was more a prelude for planning voter suppression rather than exposing any widespread fraud - as we've seen with the appointment of US Postal General Louis DeJoy in the summer in the lead up to this election. They learnt about the voting system and found ways to turn it on itself to their advantage targeting / hampering / disinfranchising likely democratic party voters.

Trump's creation of the commission was criticized by voting rights advocates, scholars and experts, and newspaper editorial boards as a pretext for, and prelude to, voter suppression.

On January 3, 2018, the commission was disbanded by Trump, with a statement from the White House blaming many states' refusal to turn over information as well as legal disputes. At that time, Trump asked that the investigation be transferred to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), which already holds much of the requested state voter data and oversees immigration records. The acting DHS press secretary said that Kobach would not be advising or working with DHS, and the White House said it would destroy all the state voter data collected by the Commission. The panel disbanded without any preliminary findings.

Starmer says this is taxpayers’ money. The PM may not value it, but people do. He quotes a contract for face masks worth £150m. How many face masks were delivered?

Johnson says we are in the middle of a global pandemic. He says the government has to work with the private sector. Some are better than others. But the government has to work with them, even if Labour hates them.

Starmer says the answer is none.

In my book, throwing 150 million at someone and getting nothing for it isn't "working with". It is gross incompetence. He also implies that he doesn't hate companies that take him for 150 million, where I'd have thought every right-minded person in the country would hate them.

So using BS's thought model of what happened.

Man Wanders into police station to report a crime

Policeman asks " 'Have you been robbed?"

Man: "Woke up this morning and my wallet is empty"

Policeman: "Did you possibly mislay the contents?"

Man: "Well I went into the bookmakers with £10,000 and a foolproof scheme .... and now all I've got is this slip of paper"

I just looked. I say "very expensive". They do need to have some sort of recording device so we can be sure they didn't have unacceptable excursions.

I have no idea how the vaccine is packaged. A few weeks supply when they are injecting all day, every day, could be quite a significant volume. Plus they need transport at those temperatures. Normal pharma transport doesn't get near.

Slightly ,or maybe more than slightly worrying. Latest WHO / CDC advice is that CV19 immunity lasts from 2 to 6 months post initial infection. While there are only very few confirmed reinfections globally, ..16 have been quoted, this is a worrying possibility. Implications for Health Care workers is obvious.

Oyster, I note from your previous posts that you have medical expertise, if I am not mistaken. But transport in insulated boxes , liquid nitrogen Dwyer flasks is commonplace.
But Liquid Nitrogen itself is commonplace. I routinely see full sized tankers of the stuff from British Oxygen Company on the motorway going between Belfast and Dublin Almost every 3rd level College, many hospitals , pharma companies and virtually every medium sized town has liquid nitrogen production .. Even the mechanical engineering world uses liquid nitrogen to insert liners into cylinder blocks in engine manufacturing. Even I used it as an undergraduate in Physics to cool oil traps in high vacuum experiments,
The 2500 price, for a minus 70 C freezer was picked off a US website, and for a small bench unit. Obviously larger and more sophisticated versions are extra cost.

Not only do I have reason to be more aware of medical fields than some others, I also had a passing association with two separate UK cryogenics companies. Though I have no medical training and regularly state that.

Yes, transport in Dewars is possible and common enough. But the standard vans used by distributors such as Alliance, AAH, etc., are simple vans, fitted out for smaller packages, and with only air conditioning. Afraid I can't see it as feasible to use them for Dewars as well.

And as I said earlier, any system used will require an audit chain with temperature recorders and limited temperature excursion. I have my doubts about the machine you mentioned otherwise there would simply be no market for machines costing five to ten times more. They might be perfectly adequate for some purposes.

Pfizer said they have special containers with dry ice for transporting the vaccine.
Still, once delivered, they need to be stored at -70C.
