Struth, was a messy business politics is.

Rudy Giuliani faces questions after compromising scene in new Borat film

Trump’s personal attorney has indiscreet encounter with actor playing Borat’s daughter in hotel room during pandemic
:D

After she removes his microphone, Giuliani, 76, can be seen lying back on the bed, fiddling with his untucked shirt and reaching into his trousers. They are then interrupted by Borat who runs in and says: “She’s 15. She’s too old for you.”

Even before he reaches into his trousers, Giuliani does not appear to acquit himself especially impressively during the encounter. Flattered and flirtatious, he drinks scotch, coughs, fails to socially distance and claims Trump’s speedy actions in the spring saved a million Americans from dying of Covid. He also agrees – in theory at least – to eat a bat with his interviewer.

Although unfortunate, the circumstances of the setup appear consensual, with Giuliani led to believe he was being courted. Bakalova, 24, is highly plausible in the sting, despite also having to pretend, for the benefit of viewers, to be a feral child posing as a far-right journalist.

From someone who thinks the moon landings were all faked and never really happened, I don't have much faith in what you consider to be genuine or not. You predicted Tommy Robinson had massive support during the EU elections and was going to do extremely well.
I was just trolling you on those things. The guy that went to the secret alien base on the far side of the moon told me that he's seen the flag they left behind, so it's definitely true that the moon landings happened.

Lets say they are legitimate sections of emails ..and maybe with sentences added or paragraphs omitted ..who is to know? Emails can and are sent from one person to another, then what happens ? Emails are not secure .There are audit paths describing where and when they sent.
That's right. At least two new organisations have contacted person/s on the circulation list, who confirmed the emails as genuine. The hard drive has now been passed to the Delaware police with a report of child endangerment. It's mandatory to report to the police any evidence of child endangerment.

Still, neither Biden has denied the veracity of the emails! What will happen tomorrow?

In a minute didn't you say a while back the FBI took them from the blind repairman?

This story say Rudy Giuliani has just handed them in (why did he hang on to them for so long if it supposedly contained vital evidence?) and Police have just handed them onto FBI. Nothing about 'child endangerment'??

What has been handed in, the Macbook, or just copies of the HD?

So your friend Rudi has this stuff in his possession for a year?.
Hang on .. some emails might be real, again no way of knowing except by examining all the routing metadata. Copy and paste is sooo easy as is omtting a sentence to give a different inpression, but that doesn't get around the fundamental question. Prove that this computer ever belonged to a Biden. Until you can answer that one everything else is moot

I was listening to a radio phone in programme a couple of weeks ago, and someone phoned in who was a volunteer in the Oxford vaccine trial. He had been given the vaccine (or placebo) he does not know which and had no reaction to it at all. He was not given a great deal of detail about how the trial was progressing but he had been told the following.

Some of the results of the trial were likely to be released before the new year and he was told it was very likely to be good news as things were looking very positive at that time.

I think we need to realize that if this and trials of other vaccines do work out well we need to bare in mind that a vaccine will not be a silver bullet. This piece by David Salisbury explains some of the maths involved with vaccination and I hope some of our politicians read and more importantly understand it.

we need to vaccinate as many as possible, the priority should be those who run no risk (school children, students etc) and progress the campaign further to the older generations.
Not the other way round.

There are ethical issues in vaccinating those who run no risk for the benefit of those who do run a risk.

In general, it is held to be unethical to use an intervention on those who have no possible gain but nonetheless do bear some risk (as even the safest of injections could cause an issue - for example through inadequate hygiene at the time of injecting).

Not being an ethicist, I'm in no position to make any real assessment in this situation but it has been mentioned more than once around the place.

Pandemic plan for vaccinations...

Once a vaccine was available, it would be administered according to the following priorities:

• 1. Health workers occupationally most at risk

• 2. Key service workers

• 3. Group(s) most vulnerable to illness

• 4. Enclosed communities, such as residential care homes

• 5. People most likely to transmit the virus, such as children

• 6. General population.

I'll bet Russia & China has their own list of those most likely to receive early vaccinations, I'll refrain from making my own suggestions for inclusion but I'm sure It would be rather different to that of the free world.

Conservative MP quits government job over free school meals
A Tory MP has quit her government job after voting for a Labour motion to offer free school meals during holidays until Easter 2021.
Caroline Ansell said vouchers were not a long-term solution - but they helped families struggling with the pandemic.

that's OK if we know for certain that the vaccine is highly effective.
If, like the flu vaccine I get every year (tomorrow lunch time as matter of fact), the vaccine is about 75% effective or even less, then the doses are better used on would be spreaders and super-spreaders.
Another reason for first use on younger people is we don't know how risky it is on older recipients as the pre-approval tests are done on 18-30 year olds.

I am pretty sure that the fewer symptoms the person has from Covid, the more likely that person is a spreader or super-spreader because he/she is unaware of the virus presence.
Therefore students are high on my list, anyone working in a public facing role in closed spaces, those working on production lines.

Every child should get free school meals, free school uniform and free breakfast club.
This could be paid for by stopping family allowance (wholly or partly) then the money would be for the benefit of the child not spent in the pub.
Ps... might not be called family allowance nowadays.

China has hardly any Covid but have vaccinated their key workers since July.
The vaccine in use is yet to be approved.
In a way, our capitalism is not as good as one party socialism on this particular threat.
