The details show it to look much more like the action of a deranged man and I won't be at all surprised if he ends up in a mental facility, ending another jobsworth created storm in a teacup.
Simon Jenkins in the Guardian is basically saying the same thing, here is the link.

You are too nihilistic my friend. Katie Hopkins does not know the meaning of "debate". Nor has she ever. She made money being provocative at the expense of the vulnerable on all sides of the political spectrum. If "parler" (which sounds suspiciously like the kind of place homophobic trump supporters go for some man on man action, if the last Louis theroux investigation I saw is anything to go on) makes her take her sordid mindless business there, great.
That's completely irrelevant. My point is that there's no point in driving popular people away from Twitter because they'll only set up somewhere else and take all their followers with them, ultimately leading to the demise of Twitter. #Twexit is trending.

What terrrorist attack? Dean Haydon declared it a terrorist attack. He's not a police commissioner, not an assistant police commissioner but a deputy assistant police commissioner. I suppose only a junior deputy assistant police commissioner would be a lower form of commissioner. In consequence Counter-Terrorism Policing South East will be taking over the investigation, probably pleased to have something to do to make them look important during no terrorist activity lockdown.

.
He was on the terrorist watchlist!

The book of how to be a good Muslim tells that you should use knives to stab enemies in the neck. All across the country there are reports of guys randomly stabbing people in the neck. In nearly all cases, they've been put down to mental illness.

Any person that randomly stabs someone they don't know in the neck is per se nuts, so that makes sense. What it means is that we're no longer under the threat of terrorism, but instead, we have to assume that a proportion of people from certain ethnic backgrounds are mentally unstable and could kill you at any random time and place without warning, except for the mandatory two words they chant before striking that begin with A and A, because of their mental instability.

I agree with you.

Further, the revelation that she got a fake version of herself removed undermines its claim to total freedom.

If I want to post using any name whatsoever, that should be permitted - simply using first-come-first-served to allocate names. Faking your name is as basic a bit of total freedom as you can get, but she obviously wasn't happy for someone else to have that freedom.

I want my freedoms but you can't have your freedoms.
Do you think there are no fake accounts on Twitter?

The fake account on Parler that had KH's picture on it was linked to a fake donations account, which was completely fraudulent. That's why it was shut down, not because KH thinks she's more important. I sometimes wonder what you guys are on.

The list their two Xiaomi models as limited to 15.5 mph, presumably thinking they are subject to e-bike law!
And as you suggest, they are not. You have to pedal to be an e-bike, which is difficult on a scooter. (I have previously not too seriously suggested a light sensor to detect scooting.)

I also learned only today 'This European Standard applies to EPAC bicycles that have a maximum saddle height of 635 mm or more '

I am beginning to worry about your mental stability. This is getting quite paranoid. I've just been for a five mile run in a relatively deprived part of London and, as on many previous occasions, have not been at any risk of being stabbed by anyone.

Jonathan, you must be slow on the uptake, or else extreme generosity of spirit. That is an assessment I made a while ago.

You are at risk, though it may be low.
I don't believe I posted anything that could indicate paranoia. Are you saying that it's making you paranoid? If you think it's me, can you show me what caused you to think that, so that I can explain.

Have a look through some of these:

Try that out in a mental health tribunal (and don't blame me if you end up on a therapeutic dose of olanzapine).

I don’t think you can say that. You have no idea what’s going on whether terrorism, nut-job, crime or accident. It can happen anywhere for any reason at any time. We all play the stats and hope we aren’t in the wrong place at the wrong time.

To a point I see where you're coming from. I worked in a part of africa where violent crime was genuinely rife. And it always happened in a random unexpected way. So practically every adult packed some form of protection (9mm, 38 etc). London is not like this. Reading was an anomaly. I have friends who live where I work ( the deprived area). Theyve experienced some pretty crime (not much). Were all quite high on self preservation. And we do have some sense of who does what to who in the community and where it's safe to go and when.

But that didn't happen this time, one of several indicators that it was not a terrorist attack. Instead he was making unintelligible speech sounds, what in a religious context is called "speaking with voices".

Really! Anyone who thinks Clinton or Obama are some kind of illuminati super conspiracy leader and the moon landings were fake because there is no way a rocket could land on a pile of cheese is totally sane in my opinion. I think vfr is a direct descendant of Mad MacAdder and as a consequence has a legitimate claim to the throne of England.

Well we now know that he is a convert to Christianity who fought with the militia on our side from the age of 16 during the conflict in Libya to overthrow Gadaffi.

Rather supporting my suspicion that the deputy assistant police commissioner was foolishly far too quick to assume the attack was terrorism.

It was clearly the act of an unbalanced young man, then just as clearly maligned with a racist assumption by a senior police officer on the basis that he was from Libya.

Risk of death appears to be higher from covid-19 than terrorism or mental health or even both.

The UK government has not acted as well as would have been hoped. It is at least arguable that there is more danger from our own government than any other source at present - if you allow failure to act as well as positive actions in the identified causes.
