What terrrorist Attack? Dean Haydon declared it a terrorist attack. He's not a police commissioner, not an assistant police commissioner but a deputy assistant police commissioner. I suppose only a junior deputy assistant police commissioner would be a lower form of commissioner. In consequence Counter-Terrorism Policing South East will be taking over the investigation, probably pleased to have something to do to make them look important during no terrorist activity lockdown.

The details show it to look much more like the action of a deranged man and I won't be at all surprised if he ends up in a mental facility, ending another jobsworth created storm in a teacup.
.
Hmmm. I think the families of the murder victims might view it as being more than a storm in a tea cup.

Deranged / terrorist? Not really any difference.

In terrrorism terms it probably is a storm in teacup. There have been many murdered and injured by mentally ill people, an ever present risk in our increasingly complex society as more and more people fail to cope mentally and randomly lash out in futile ways.

Others failing to cope take the other course of suicide instead. Are they terrorists?

Of course not, they and those who lash our are simply trying to deal with what is to them in their state of mind an impossible situation.

Brilliant!!. Fully agree, so can we just dispense with the nonsense word terrorist. ? Every terrorist in someone's vocabulary is someone elses patriot or freedom fighter or political activist..or maybe special forces operations

Katie Hopkins has only been on Parler for 24hrs. Already she has 38,000 followers and is getting 150k to 250k views per post. See what happens in the next 24 hours.

The account I mentioned yesterday was fake, which was good fun while it lasted, but she found out and had it cancelled. the one now is really her.

I heard Twexit is trending on Twitter. I was right when I said that there would be a mass migration. Watch the Twitter share price on Monday.

Talk about tilting at windmills, you're a true follower of Don Quixote!

You'll never get the word terrorist dispensed with when governments worldwide find it so convenient a label for any who inconveniences them, and so effective a criminal offence at trial.

The logic of your argument is impeccable, but since when did that matter to governments?

what do you see in her? Donald Trump and the US election, Tommy Robinson and his troubles with the police are legitimate subjects but Katie Hopkins?

Question:
Why did the Sun never set on the British Empire?
Answer:
Obviously God didn't trust the British in the dark.

Caveat:
This belief has been discredited as it is hard to believe he/she/ it / them trusted the British during daylight hours either!

I don't remember saying I see anything in her, nor do I support her. I only said it doesn't do any good to kick out people with a million followers. They have a new home that is growing fast. They take all their followers with them. In the end, we'll have nobody to debate. It'll be like a football team with no other side to play, who'd be able to boast how good they are, never having been beaten, but what's the point? New legislation is coming soon that will allow people to sue Twitter, then Twitter then will restrict what you can say. That will be another nail in the coffin. Tweeters will migrate to the free speech platforms so that they can continue to slag off each other without repercussions. Twitter will decline, then disappear.

free speech has always existed, it's just that it is now widespread. It has never been at risk.
Those who make money out of advertisement need to be made more responsible, that's a different subject.

You are too nihilistic my friend. Katie Hopkins does not know the meaning of "debate". Nor has she ever. She made money being provocative at the expense of the vulnerable on all sides of the political spectrum. If "parler" (which sounds suspiciously like the kind of place homophobic trump supporters go for some man on man action, if the last Louis theroux investigation I saw is anything to go on) makes her take her sordid mindless business there, great.

A court has to prove that someone was responsible for an alleged offence. Being responsible usually means acting with premeditation as part of being able to assess the impact and consequences of one's actions. Being subject to a psychotic state (or overwhelming emotional state, say as a result of extreme provocation, aka an emotional automatism or temporary insanity) means an individual would not be considered responsible - ie knew what they were doing or what the impact of their behaviour were.
