Ah! I'd always got that wrong. Always thought it was absinthe.
Only if you get the real rough stuff with excessive wormwood..they say

Though Usually it has this sort of effect (I'm told!!) "Absinthe Makes Neurons Run Wild"

During the last century the worst effects I ever suffered was from a bender on Pernod in Paris
Never touched it since!

Think my worst was ouzo. Sans Rival.

No. Not Sammy Wilson. But not Simon Coveney either.

Who am I thinking of? Angry little bean.

Richmons? Something Richmond

He is not someone I know, but his is the type of person which brings the concept of our Senate into disrepute. It was intended as a house for reflection and informed debate, by mature individuals, with life experience..selected as leaders from Academic, Professions, Sports, maybe even Sports leaders.
Unfortunately this ideal has been lost ,and some people are using it as a political kindergarten.

You have to admire the sheer arrogance of this journalist in the Daily Mail
"RICHARD LITTLEJOHN: The arrogant men in Whitehall do NOT know what's best… and the leaked memos from Britain's man in Washington just prove it.

I wonder why a journalist feels more qualified to judge Trump that the ambassador that has to deal with him on a daily basis?
The right wing press is utterly corrupt.

Tommy Robinson begs Donald Trump to grant him political asylum in US

‘I beg Donald Trump, I beg the American government, to look at my case,’ says activist following contempt of court conviction

If Farage doesn't become the new UK Ambassador to the US then we could instead send Tommy...
This in the Independent
"“I beg Donald Trump, I beg the American government, to look at my case,” he said on Monday. “I need evacuation from this country because dark forces are at work.”
Robinson claimed that he would be killed if he is jailed, alleging that British prisons are “controlled by jihadi gangs”.

“This is a direct appeal on behalf of my family – we love the United States, I have no future here [in Britain],” he added. “The country has fallen.”

The above article reveals the extent of American involvement and encouragement with this trouble causer, please take him and save us paying for socially housing the blighter.

If you don't want to go to gaol... (Please can we have proper English English spelling.)

Perhaps he should go to Mexico first? I've heard it is easy to cross from there.

The dark forces at work south of the USA are far more terrible than he fears. Yet the USA seems intent on locking the door rather than trying to help make those countries safe and good to live in - which would have a dramatic impact on migration.

Maybe not as wild as some have suggested?

The following point about the thujone content of pre-ban absinthe should be stressed: there are no analyses from the 19th century because neither knowledge about thujone nor the required analytical methodologies were in existence. Therefore, so-called "historical thujone contents" are either speculative or derived from calculations using historic recipe books, experi-mental production of absinthes using such recipes, or analyses of vintage absinthes. The most conclusive evidence is provided by a number of studies about the experimental production of absinthes, and the analyses of vintage absinthes, which consistently showed that they contained only relatively low concentrations of thujone (< 10 mg/l).

“spaff some money on some geeks”

May’s joint chief of staff Fiona Hill instructs Britain’s most senior civil servant, the cabinet secretary Sir Jeremy Heywood, to commission experts to come up with technological solutions.

https://www.irishtimes.com/opinion/fintan-o-toole-a-spiffing-tale-of-how-brexit-was-spaffed-away-1.3950422

"And then there was May. She simply refused all entreaties from her officials to make a decision on the most obvious question: did the UK want to remain in the customs union?

“Stop bringing me binary choices,” she snapped at them. “This is not going to be a binary choice.” She decided in mid-2017 that no-deal was impossible – but then decided not to tell anybody. Above all, she indulged a fatal miscalculation by some of her cabinet who continued to believe, as one minister tells Cook, “that the Irish were really bluffing about this”.

In the words of Holy Brexit

"Bigotry is a great time saver
It enables you to make your mind up
without being confused by facts"
Brexit proverb: #1

Or experts if it comes to that!

Entertainment among Tory Mp's

Now ask yourself these questions
  1. Is it probable that the leak was accidental or just a personal attack?
  2. Is it probable that a political organisation engineered this leak?
  3. Which Political organisation has the most to gain from this?
  4. Was it done cheaply or has someone bought and paid for it to happen?
  5. If it was paid for where did the money come from?
  6. Which political faction are playing it for all is is worth to their cause?
Here is a list allegedly of officials with access to those cables, no doubt there are others not named too. including apparently the entire Leave. EU Flying circus and it's camp followers.

the Russians did it, and before JC demands proof, remind him of what happened last time he did.

Tommy Robinson should be UK ambassador, says Donald Trump

I predicted it!

Two possible hitches over Robinson becoming our man in Washington – he has assault and mortgage fraud convictions in the UK and once tried to enter America with a false passport. :(

He will be chowing down on water porridge with the local criminal muslims soon.

Shame as I reckon he would have made a really good ambassador.

Ice cream van man in leaver Eastbourne...

“Since Brexit, people have less money, and less confidence in spending money. They haven’t got the money in their pockets they had a few years ago.” (Eastbourne voted to leave the EU.)

https://www.theguardian.com/food/2019/jul/09/the-big-scoop-what-a-day-with-an-ice-cream-man-taught-me-about-modern-britain

(Ironic that Roach uses a fresh milk mix from Mediterranean Ices. :) )

Will brexit spell the end for even more traditional British ice cream vans?
