Just who was happy with free movement? come on now, how many Brexit voters wanted that?
I’m just watching BBC’s Inside the Factory, which is focusing on sausages. The entire packaging line is staffed by Eastern EU workers. It’s mind numbingly boring repetitive hard work.

I can’t imagine fat arsed British workers dragging themselves away from the free money outlet to work in these factories. Without migrant workers, these factories would probably close.

We either need to accept the contribution migrants make, or reduce the flow of free money to incentivise the fat arses into the factories.

Apparently Fascist is spelt "Cognitive Elite" now

I’m not sure I follow. You said.

Having the country run by a bunch of fascists as a tax haven who you can't trust to respect agreements or pay their bills perhaps?
Who wants a right wing version of Cuba for a neighbour?

Are you saying Rees Mogg is a facist and is running the country?

I’d dispute both of those assertions. Here is a link to what fascism is.

To bandy around such strong accusations dilutes the actual word imo.

Once again you demonstrate ignorance.
It's not an accusation this is how it starts every time.

I just don't understand why Leavers can't understand these obvious facts of life.
I think for many leavers they only believe what the want to believe. Any information that clashes with that belief they dismiss as fake news, or project fear. I am not sure where all this will end, if we do crash out with no deal and it is an economic disaster I suspect many leavers will still find others to blame rather than themselves.

Leaving for many is now like a religion, they are like a cult, the facts don't matter to these people, all that matters is that we leave, with or without a deal. Hard to believe we can behave like this in 2019, and to top it all end up with BJ as PM.

Six years ago if someone had wrote a play or film depicting all that has happened here in the last three years or so no would believe it, people would just laugh and call it total fiction.

JC delays yet again on decision for next step on Brexit strategy, even John McDonnell is getting a bit fed up with his fence sitting now.https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2019/jun/25/labour-holds-back-on-second-referendum-amid-shadow-cabinet-rift

I heard recently of a poll that was carried out just among Tori Party members. I can't remember the exact figures but I think in answer to all the following questions over 60% said they would still want to leave even if.
1. Leaving meant Scotland would leave the Union.
2. NI would leave the Union.
3. The country would be much worse off financially.
4. Leaving could end the Tori Party.

I don't think you can reason with people like this, no facts are going to change their minds, leaving the EU has now become more important than anything else to these people.

This poll reminded me of something I think Trump said some time back. I don't remember the exact quote but it went something like this. Trump "I could even be filmed gunning people down on 5th Avenue with a machine guy, and my base would still come out and vote for me".

we were told if we didn't join the Euro it would be an economic disaster, if we VOTED to leave it would be an economic disaster. They could not have been more wrong, and yet they are predicting Armageddon if we leave the safety blanket of the EU. I suppose they could get 1 out of 3 right, but I stay optimistic in the face of all the gloom mongers

With the pound having gone significantly in the direction of parity with the euro, perhaps we could still join the euro? (So long as we act quickly before the pound slips too low.)

Overprint our notes with "England Winners", no, sorry, that was then, this is now, "Temporary Euro Promissory Note".

Nor would anyone believe,6years ago that the USA is running concentration camps on its southern border for CHILDREN. . Now there is an Op Ed in the Washington Post that these are not Concentration Camps ..but they are.. They are in exactly the same way as the British ran Camps in the Boer War!.

I thought the fat arses were the brexit base? The thick feckless shite that blame immigrant workers for everything and are "disenfranchised by globalisation". Fat chance of boris or nige doing anything to upset them
