Because the likes of Lineker, Bragg, Boyle, Bonio, Geldhoff etc are generally regarded to be bell-ends, people have a tendency to do the opposite of what they advocate. I don’t think they have worked that out yet, but why should the be able to when their skill are kicking, singing, and telling gags?
Clowning around seems to be working for Boris in his quest for the top job.

The climate change protest, what a joke! Protesters arriving by aeroplane, car, bus etc adding to pollution. Then forcing people off public transport into their own cars. Using capitalist pollution creating technology to publicise their cause. The ugly face of hypocrisy.

The police arresting people and then just hours later releasing them to go and rejoin the protests! Video footage of police officers dancing with the protesters.

As if Brexit wasn’t embarrassing enough, we now have this.

I don’t agree. The fake clown thing has run it’s course, he’s been busted. Lying, deceitfulness, duplicity, treachery, opportunism and self indulgence now seems to be working for him.
he's got what it takes then.

Absolutely, and they also showed what morons they are by gluing themselves to the DLR, an electric mass transport system that exists to solve climate change.

They are the same rent-a-mob who long ago were hippies, who demonstrated against nuclear weapons, joined animal rights protests, campaigns against fur use etc. Large numbers of them unemployed and on benefits, which is why they are able to be there.

In our modern complex society which is totally dependant on all pieces working well, we can no longer tolerate these kinds of widely disruptive protests by those who do not want to take a full part in society. They should organise to protest through the ballot box. Meanwhile I'd get the fire brigade out to pressure hose them off the roads.

You mean apart from the consumer getting stuff for less? You lot always forget that part.

Sounds like JRM who's mantra when stating what advantages a hard brexit will bring is that the poor would enjoy bootiful cheap shoes and food ... Chinese plastic sandals & Turkey Twizzlers and such like anyone??

I don't think he's ever shopped on eBay or in Iceland ;-) https://www.ebay.co.uk/b/Unbranded-Womens-Plastic-Sandals-and-Beach-Shoes/62107/bn_822399?_pgn=4

I don’t know why the police are so reluctant / unable to remove them if they are causing disruption, which they clearly are. I don’t think any reasonable person objects to a public display to bring attention to a particular cause, but when they are preventing others from earning a living and shutting down eco-friendly transport systems, it oversteps the mark and action is needed.

That pink boat has been parked for 3 days. Why hasn’t it been towed away? My car would have been gone in 39 minutes and me with it if I’d tried to prevent its removal.

Those dancing coppers are a disgrace to their uniforms. They should be investigated for malfeasance if duty.

Our local police have just stuck a 12% increase on the council tax bill. The only police I ever see are fat triple chinned gits with gravy coming out of their heads. If the Met is the same, no wonder it’s such a shambles. What must other countries be thinking.

The first thing BJ PM would do is to accept the withdrawal agreement.
Indeed. And I read his lengthy reasoning on that. I don't particularly agree with it - but I can see where he is coming for. Having him as PM would make up for it though - can you imagine how upset it would make so many others! Just to see their faces would be worth every minute amount of any suffering I have ever experienced in my entire life to date.

Lets examine that.
First of all you have to believe in miracles for our amateur negotiators not to get taken to the cleaners in negotiating deals, I can't believe you are serious in expecting good results!

1: How will we get it cheaper when we have less clout unless we sell the NHS off? and make huge concessions that are a cost to us?
2; Why should we accept Hormone Beef and other lower food standard items than we do now?

Brexit doesn't actually guarantee anything being cheaper does it?
You lot forget that part, like everything else leave promised, it's pie in the sky with no factual truth involved.

It may make "America great again" but it won't do the same for us if that happens.
It's a basic economic reality - less tariffs/interference means lower prices - you're cutting out the middle man (the government).

But - seeing as you're addicted to having a government (and the socialists around here want nothing BUT a government) - then you won't understand.

accepting the Withdrawal Agreement means he wants a deal with the EU where most of our exports go to, which means that we continue with goods' standard alignment and get nothing more out of the EU and the USA than we get at the moment.
Basically, it's all about Boris getting the top job.
