House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said the US will not make a trade deal with the UK if Brexit leads to new hostilities in Northern Ireland.
“Let me be clear: if the Brexit deal undermines the Good Friday Accords, there will be no chance of a U.S.-U.K. trade agreement,” Pelosi said in a Wednesday address to the Irish parliament, the Hill reported.
The US currently has trade arrangements with the European Union, so a new agreement with the UK would be needed after Britain exits the bloc.

Calsonic Kansei: Car parts firm to cut 95 jobs in Llanelli
A car parts manufacturer is set to cut 95 staff from its Llanelli factory after a "significant drop in sales".

Japanese firm Calsonic Kansei employs around 300 people at the Carmarthenshire plant and develops cooling systems and air conditioning components.

The company was offered a £4.4m grant by the Welsh Government in December in order to create 88 jobs.

Economy Minister Ken Skates blamed "serious instability" around Brexit.

Gary Lineker is a toss-pot.
Its been the problem throughout last three years and its getting worse. Folk with the greatest number of followers on twatter, thickbook etc etc, have more say and influence than any economist. The Billy Braggs, Frankie Boyles, Gary Linekars are suddenly socio economic experts. That loud mouth from Boom Town Prats set scene early on, insulting leave voters and its been tolerated and magnified since. Idiots like those set the atmosphere between us all.

Farage will poll around 20%-30%.
He represents a substantial if not the majority group of conservative voters who voted brexit.
Farage also benefits from not having to do any negotiation.
I don't think he'll progress further in the next 5 weeks.

Farage's UKIP won in 2014 EU election then nothing in 2017 GE demonstrates that GEs do not suit single issue parties like UKIP, Brexit and Green.

Ironic that the Leave camp want to leave the EU where we already enjoy an advantageous Trade deal with the USA without dire strings attached, to leave the EU and get an inferior deal with all sorts of terms that work against us!
Show just how insane the leave idea is.
Their promise is this
If we leave the biggest Trading Block with the worlds most professional trade negotiatiors, our local incompetent amateur spivs who are botching up leaving the EU as we speak , will negotiate on our behalf (or rather their paymasters behalf) in a world that now realises just easy meat we are.
What could possibly go right?

The Daily Express held a Twitter Poll over the next Tory leader
"
We asked our readers in a Twitter poll: Who would you pick as the next Tory leader?
The results were eye-opening, with 2,616 people voting between 2pm and 10pm on Wednesday, April 17.
A decisive 77 percent of respondents backed former Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson, versus just 11 percent for Home Secretary Sajid Javid who came in second place.
Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt and Environment Secretary Michael Gove completed the list on 6 percent each.

Well why not we may as well laugh as the country goes to the dogs

In your dreams! this is just a debate.
'Just a debate' is exactly where ego's get bruised.

Of course it's purely metaphorical - nobody actually gets hurt in an argument - though by the way some people react you would think they'd just been punched in the face.

As they say - if you're not a socialist at 25 you have no heart - if you're still one at 65 you have no head.
if that saying is correct, how can you explain the big jump between the oldest two groups?

55-64: 19%
65+: 49%

do they just wise up after retiring at 65?

The first thing BJ PM would do is to accept the withdrawal agreement.

Because the likes of Lineker, Bragg, Boyle, Bonio, Geldhoff etc are generally regarded to be bell-ends, people have a tendency to do the opposite of what they advocate. I don’t think they have worked that out yet, but why should the be able to when their skill are kicking, singing, and telling gags?

Lets examine that.
First of all you have to believe in miracles for our amateur negotiators not to get taken to the cleaners in negotiating deals, I can't believe you are serious in expecting good results!

1: How will we get it cheaper when we have less clout unless we sell the NHS off? and make huge concessions that are a cost to us?
2; Why should we accept Hormone Beef and other lower food standard items than we do now?

Brexit doesn't actually guarantee anything being cheaper does it?
You lot forget that part, like everything else leave promised, it's pie in the sky with no factual truth involved.

It may make "America great again" but it won't do the same for us if that happens.
