I agree. There is nothing remotely racist about the principle of Brexit. I believe that Brexit is a bad idea, but it is not a Nazi or a racist plot. To suggest that it is illustrates just how unhinged some people are.
Having said the above, I will acknowledge that racists tend to support Brexit rather than remain, but that is not the fault of those who support Brexit for other genuinely held beliefs or opinions.
First I would like someone to explain how the majority of the population came to these "Genuinely held beliefs" when all they had ever been exposed to was lies about the EU?
Then of course here's nothing racist about Brexit, it's more all embracing than that, it's just against Johnny foreigners coming here, and demands the removal of our own rights to free movement.
in a way its a sort of Suprematist/Isolationist movement
A sort of Monastic order for the terminally afraid to compete, that has managed to turn an urge to "Take back Control"
Into being at the mercy of all and sundry , begging for scraps.
And what may one ask is in it for anyone without cash squirreled away in an offshore account?
Absolutely nothing but trouble and strife.
After all they can't promise extra jobs here when they say we have "Full employment" can they?
And now we have the problem that we need more of the "Johnny Foreigners" and the Government is trying to sell that idea to people that voted for the opposite!
Because our people don't want the jobs these immigrants were doing.
