The most radical thing he wants to do is put Rail and Water back in state ownership, and his MPs support him in that.

I can't understand why so many in here have allowed themselves to be brainwashed by the right wing media into thinking Corbyn is a bogeyman. In truth he's no different from the left wingers in Attlees government, and they only did good which we all still benefit from.
.
I keep thinking about the Gordon Brown years, what he did to pensions & the economy. His sort are great supporters of socialism, right up to the point where they have given everyone else’s money away.

Thats rubbish Flecc.
Attlee was without doubt a socialist but he was both pragmatic and realistic.
Once again I remind you to answer what I posted, not what you imagine I did.

I said the left wingers in Attlee's government, not Attlee, and there was nothing pragmatic about the likes of Aneurin Bevan for example.

Indeed.
The twittersphere, with its "we'll get you next" messages, doesn't half recall:

First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

You only know Jews, socialists and trade unionists?

You need to get out more. No wonder no wants to speak for you. You only have a very narrow pool of friends. It they are out on a particular evening you will be left with just us.

Nothing to do with the 'right wing press' - just look at the man - watch him on PMQs - look at who he's been hanging out with - two Es at A level - the man is a walking disaster.
And all the Tory A levels, university educations and top private schools have born fruit for us currently?

I've just mentioned the late Aneurin Bevan, one of our greatest politicians with a lasting record of achievement in office:

"Bevan did poorly at school and his academic performance was so bad, that his headmaster made him repeat a year. At the age of thirteen, Bevan left school and began working "

Education can be worthless in political policies, instincts and intentions are what counts.

They were not leaders Flecc. Attlee was and Corbyn is. You said "Corbyn is not the bogey man". He is, I explained as such. You always champion Corbyn, you have been taken in by his act. He is the least educated, least intelligent labour leader in history. He can not operate without notes, seems to have little knowledge or understanding of any topics he is questioned on and has made many appountments based on nepotism over ability. His stance on anti Semitic feelings in labour has been bad and he has made some stupid associations for an MP of his stature.
What has he done to deserve your support?
And, yes I agree, a good education is not a prerequisite for a good MP but intelligence is. Corbyn appears to have neither.
Attlee had Bevin, Corbyn has Abbot. Says it all.

His devotion to Diane Abbott shows he's just as corrupt when it comes to doling out jobs for mates as any Eton old boy. They are all at it. Almost Every member of his cabinet and inner circle all have their drop out kids working for them and we pay for it.

Nepotism, corruption, cronyism and hypocrites.

Wasn't it Corbyn that said council houses should not be sold. Wasn't it his son Sebastian who bought one and now rents it out?

What about Abbotts son and academy's? Good enough for everyone else's children but not her son. He went to London oratory.

They are the worst type. At least the tory scum lie to your face.

Your ignorance of the poem, written by the German Lutheran pastor Martin Niemöller, is not surprising. So why should you know that there are many variants of it in which the identified groups vary?

However, the point is that those groups (whichever ones are mentioned in whichever version) are already those who are marginalised.

He's promised to nationalise Rail and Water. It's worth electing him for that alone.

And, yes I agree, a good education is not a prerequisite for a good MP but intelligence is. Corbyn appears to have neither.
He's had enough of both to get huge acclaim from many, with them even singing his name en masse. I can't remember anything equivalent for Cameron or May and I don't care what the right wing press or their believers like you think of him.

He would in any case only be leading a government, the actions would be taken by a cabinet of senior ministers, supported by their army of junior ministers and guided by the civil service.

If there were any bots circumventing the verification process on the Article 50 revocation petition, they are doing an exceedingly poor job. Rate of signing has dropped such that it is still just shy of 6 million.

https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/241584
That strikes me evidence of real human involvement. Bots would not have stopped when the PM indicated that revoke was not an option.

Don't two thirds of MPs need to agree to a GE before it can be called? That means a lot of Tori MPs will need to back a GE, that strikes me as needing Turkeys to vote for Christmas. I would be very surprised if they would do that, having said that nothing surprises me nowadays when it comes to politics.
if the government wants to call a GE, it can give 2 weeks notice, because no other group can command a majority. That's the only course of action for TM when she cannot take order from the HoC.

I don't think the british people will vote him in. However he may get in by default because people are so fed up they may not bother to turn out to vote for the tories. To worry about the'' catastrophic'' consequences of brexit and then to not worry about Corbyn becoming PM seems like lunacy to me. He would destroy the country within 2 years
it will not be the first time that the tories lose power because of the EU.
As for JC going to the extreme when he has power, you don't have to worry. If he signs up for customs union and single market, he'll be tied up with so many strings by EU treaties and directives that he won't even be able to freeze the price of electricity.

Of course I'm aware of the poem. I was making an amusing and pithy aside at your clumsy attempt of pathos.

Have you got sand in your mangina Oyster? I look forward to the resulting pearls of as yet unknown wisdom you may yet impart to me.

I am very clever though and would be surprised if the licking and sticking you cut and paste on here isn't something I already know.

I live in hope though.

I do believe the good folk in the Village of hope have put out a missing persons report on the village rustic
I shall give them the good news
And smarter than the average bear booboo too!

Which he did by giving it to the Banks, to bail them out, but remember the Tory party was just as keen on Deregulation too, and look where it got us.
