I did if Corbyn gets into no 10 he will give them a referendum
Between a deal or crashing out..???
And a few major problems..
Largest of which Corbyn can't get in... And secondly, even in the remote chance he did, both he and Mccluskey don't want a referendum offering remain. (Mccluskey argues that decision has been made, even tho he, s a remainer, and Corbyn wants out.)
Besides, the question I referred to was the voting issue... Which to be fair I believe you are one of few to have covered that base. I believe you voted Lib Dem last GE???
How many leavers are moaning about leaving but actually voted for it at last GE???
I, m not sure, even taking flecc s point into account, how leavers can carry on criticising leave having voted for either Tory or Labour..???
How many also blame leavers for Brexit but did exactly that... ie) vote leave at GE...

Did you actually read my post? I asked how it would be received by the leave voters and did not say I agreed with them.
Try telling them that Northern Ireland is part of us, when they can see it is actually not physically part of the mainland, and plainly is part of greater Ireland.
Worse,it is getting in the way of their great Brexit idea.

And since there appears to be a majority now for unity with the south, all it will take is or Corbyn once in power giving them a referendum.
And that is exactly what he has always wanted, a reunited ireland.
I would not make the assumption that there is a majority in NI for political union with their southern fellow countrymen. Indeed there are plenty of my fellows south of the border, who are not interested in subsidising the welfare cheat and public purse scroungers which permeate the 6 counties.
At the time of the break in 1922, the 3 counties near Belfast had 80% of the countries industrial activity . Now the republics industrial activity is 30 times that of NI... figures from David McWilliams, ..

I seem to remember you two being totally against Catalans getting independence from Spain
Perhaps you could indicate the post where I said that? just asking as I can't remember doing so, or remember being interested one way or the other.

Guide to how the EU democracy (dictatorship) works..

Imagine your team has won the FA Cup Final but the FA then said ‘no it’s our competition, the match was only advisory, we have decided to replay until your opposition wins, or we might just put their name on the trophy regardless’-

Welcome to the Brexit ‘democracy (Dictatorship)’.
Hang on all the options are within the grasp and total control of the UK parliament. If you don't like their decisions ,you can vote.
If the uk were in fact a dictatorship, there wouldn't even be a meaningful vote in January.

Tommie the EU has nothing to do with the referendum and they can have nothing to do with whether there is another or not.

They have deliberately avoided getting involved, but as you have demonstrated there is always some clown who wants to pretend otherwise.

I don't think this is true. Whatever the outcome I would respect the result of another referendum now, if properly run. It would be based on the public knowing much more about the issues and I'm sure most would also respect its result.

Neither were true last time, it was disgracefully run by liars on both sides, backed by some very suspect individuals and interests using financial impropriety. The public, all the public, were mercilessly manipulated for the desired ends of vested interests.

The government knew it and took part in the impropriety, wrongly assuming they would get their desired result anyway.

Once again, it's an invalid argument since there cannot be party for every individual's likes devoid of any of their dislikes. So every vote is a compromise.

The compromise could be to get what is liked from a manifesto.

Or it could be simply because of being unable to accept what the other side represents.

Or as in my case, both.

He may well be referring to a number of posts i made on the matter. At no stage did i express an objection to Cathalans gaining independence from the rest of Spain. But that the process was different and would have required a referendum of the entire Spanish kingdom.

Sounds like the talk of somebody who does not run their own business.

I could be wrong of course - but when it comes to 'real economics' people who run their own businesses tend to make the most sense.

Not always true I might add - some businesses succeed only due to a rigged system they're lucky enough to be in.

Do you run your own business Danidl? Or do you work for somebody else and take a salary? Or a student? Or not working? Or something else?
My status is my business, the opinions stand on their own merits.

Another referendum - what would the options be?
Would joe public even understand them?
Mays Deal, Remain, No Deal, Norway style etc etc......
it`s opening another can of worms
As you have just demonstrated there is at least one already who hasn't got a clue!

The point was valid OG. Exactly what and how would you word a second referendum. Its a massive problem, which you didn't answer last time I pointed this out.

At last so good advice from the Government
Change diet to cope with food delays after no-deal Brexit, Britons told
Officials are planning to tell Britons to change what they eat in the event of a chaotic Brexit because Whitehall predicts that some sources of fresh food from European Union countries would be cut off.

The government has begun detailed planning on food supplies if Britain leaves without a deal and has identified a number of sites for massive hangars to stockpile food, including one near Carlisle and others in Scotland and on the south coast.

And getting into the spirit I have found this

Amazon Bush tucker trial pack
  • A selection box with a difference
  • Set made up of real BBQ Mealworms, Salt and Vinegar Crickets, Scorpion Chili Choc Bar and a Bug Lolls Pop
  • Official I'm a Celebrity Get me out of here product
And already its at no 728 on the food purchase list

Amzing isn't it? the leave campaign whinged on about "Project Fear" and this lot makes the first look pretty tame!

Easy same as before leave or stay people should have properly made their minds up by now Parliament should have already stated their preference by voting on the available options before the referendum

What's wrong with May's Deal or Remain?

They are the only true alternatives, what we have or the Leaving deal that was negotiated following the referendum decision.

The others are from factional interests like the ERG or new directions, having no part of democracy.
