it's an good deal, don't think anyone else will succeed better than May.
She's given an impossible task: we want to keep as many benefits as possible, protect as many jobs as possible and pay as little as possible, keep as many doors pen as possible and don't expect any reward for your effort.
I don't think JC or BJ or JRM would do a better job under the circumstance.

May has made the best of a bad hand,I actually admire her for sticking with the deal. Elements of Chequers were impractical,but they have been dropped.
What Brexiters dont like is the backstop,we may still be in the CU and SM in 10 years time,for me thats ok....keep it going for 20 years plus and we will all have forgotten about it....BRINO,hehe!!!
I had a senior civil servant in my warehouse recently,I asked him what preparations I should be making for NO DEAL brexit....his answer was don't know,we havent any plan either.

I think she has misjudged it though. When parliament votes down the deal she will have to beg juncker for an extension. I think this is what will get the vote of no confidence in her

No it wont...what will attract a vote of confidence is if after her deal is voted down,which I think is now unlikely,she decides to put to parliament a peoples vote,I think there is a majority in the house for a second vote....then JRM will start throwing his toys around and try to get the 48 letters,but he still will be defeated by the Tories,that is the end of hard Brexit. Dont forget that once May has won a leadership challenge there cannot be another for one year,she will be the stronger after the challenge.
The EU have already said they will extend Art 50 to allow for a second referendum.

the EU have said that they will only agree to an extension of A50 if the UK needs it for a general election or second EU referendum. The cost will be at least £10 billions per annum, more likely £17 billions when ancillary costs are added. The conservatives are in the driving seat at the moment, that means the choice will be between May's deal or no deal. Unseating May will mean no deal because her replacement would be likely a no deal supporter.

May will survive,the ERG have lost the plot,there is no appetite for a NO DEAL in parliament.

Can you not see that "getting through it " is way way short of what was promised?.. I don't know about Qataris intentions ,but I would be less sure about the Germans. What are your plans if the rocky six months becomes 18,24,36... ?. . What tends to happen is that it becomes the new normal.

She will win the vote of no confidence because the Tories will put Party before country but there really isn't a pathway to get her deal over the line.

Although I wouldn't be surprised if Juncker and Barnier suddenly find a way to change the wording of the backstop after she signs the deal on Sunday.
