Switch on that lonely brain cell for a moment, why do you think they come on? after all the thread has had almost a million hits, and we have only encountered a handful of dullards like yourself intent on making themselves unpopular in over two years.

You poor deluded fool.

Ok here goes. I'm going to break this down for you. It saddens me in a way because you do think you're special and I'm guessing this forum is probably all you've got and the reason why you think your special. But **** it.

Everytime you look at this thread it counts a view. Everytime. When you click on that red flag or press refresh. Thats a view. Got that?

Since this thread started there has been 906 days. Don't worry, I will do the maths for you. Just read. And lets say you, for instance check this thread 40 times a day. That is the high side and over the period of 906 (again, don't sweat this, I got it) days probably, nay definitely the high side of average but stick with me. I'm going somewhere.

Lets times 906 by 40. What have we....Oh sorry I said I got this...Its 36,240. Now we said thats the high side of average. So lets cut it in half. Thats now 18,120. If we times that by 30 and over the period of time extrapolate that on average 30 other people had the same amount of views as you. And lets be honest 30 is a reasonable amount. That gives us a grand total of......

543, 600

Thats half a million views generated by 30 people over 2 and a half years.

So sorry to burst your bubble Shakespear but if you want that many people to read your rantings, primary school level debating and rudeness you might want to think about writing a letter to The Sun news paper.

Chin up sunshine I still think you're special and Arthur does too. :).

Oh, very good No 10, straight from the School of Slow Learners,
she was told of this ages ago and was supported by the Irish tax authorities, our HMRC, the DUP et al..

The brexiteers have been saying this for months. Pretty much accepted that the whole issue is being weaponised by Varadkar looking to get a rebate from the EU.
Considering the minuscule amount of trade between ROI and Ulster, it's plain this is a faux issue from EU and fueled by their puppet in Dublin.

However!
Would it be any coincidence that the DUP abstain on the finance bill and suddenly today the cabinet are informed a 'technology solution' could mean no hard border without a backstop. A technology solution that Leavers have called for over the last 2 years, but Dominic Raab failed to consider.
I have no doubt that a technological solution to policing the border will in time be feasible. , As an Engineer it is obvious drones ,cameras, sealed containers, time of flight, real time GPS, I can see a bonanza for my fellow electronic engineers.
But it won't happen for a while until it has been started, and it has not started.

Even what might have been a simple task of removing washed diesel has not even been accomplished. All that required was an agreement that rebated fuel or DERV was not imported. All legitimate companies and farmers could have been given an allowance for fuel consumed on a per mile travel or per acre ploughed . So a task which might have involved a stroke of a pen, a little cooperation ,and better statistics from civil servants ,results in damaged engines, costly chemical waste management, overtime for excise agents and money to a criminal class.

a technical solution addresses only the issue of tracking what is declared. It can't stop people who do not want to declare their freight or human traffickers.

So you failed at maths as well as History, even using your maths the total is now 996,854 so the number is 50.

You couldn't even get that right, and your assumption is that we have a captive audience of 50 people who actually check the Forum 30 times a day?

Do you understand even the rudiments of statistics?
No wonder you voted for Brexit if you are so slow witted you imagine that; for all you know it may only be visited once or twice a day by very many people who may not even ever visit again.
There is absolutely no evidence to support even 30 , but even if it was true, then they must have had an incredible level of interest to visit that often

You then wrote this

Is that a confession?
You haven't come on here to debate have you ? so far you have simply come on here to be as disruptive and obnoxious as your limited intelligence can manage, and once again made a complete fool of yourself to the point that a complete newcomer comes on and disagrees with you
Does that justify the effort you put in?

I apologise the this lady on behalf on the other contributors to the Forum as in the interest of fairness and free speech it is open to even individuals that are simply intent on trying to disrupt debate as they lack both any information or evidence to argue their case, or the intelligence to be able to present it.

I note that in your post you say you are going somewhere
Don't let me detain you.

Maybe I am wrong but I thought people traffiking was already going on even in the EU and particularly in Southern Ireland

Here's a Classic
"Today saw the launch of Peter Lilley’s outstanding research report Fact Not Friction supported by a cross-party and non-aligned group. The paper exposes as baseless over a dozen myths about leaving the EU Customs Union under WTO terms.

It's a joint publication between "Global Britain and the ERG"

So I read the publication and it carried the following rather telling caveats

"Although the information compiled in our research is produced to the best of our ability, its accuracy is not guaranteed." "Global Britain Limited shall be under no liability
Also
Neither Global Britain Limited, nor any of its suppliers, make any warranties expressed or implied, as to the accuracy, adequacy, quality or fitness for any particular purpose of the information or the services"

So the information isn't to be trusted as accurate, nor actually fit for any purpose

Full marks for Honesty!

It makes me wonder why they published something they don't believe to be true enough to guarantee genuine

They should be forced to print the true name of the publication

To avoid misunderstandings, Polly is actually a 55 year old male from Chesterfield.

And member Poppy is also a male, Spanish living at Ferrol, Spain. His forum name was his son's idea of a joke.
.
Then it is my turn to apologise for jumping to conclusions, sorry POLLY
My monika was gifted to me by my eldest daughter for complaining when she came home rather late as a young teenager...
