They were of course too late if that was the intent the lies of the leave camp were the more successful, as was the wish among the public to be against anything the government was in favour of.
There was after all no understanding of the consequences of the vote, and there's previous little even now

Very true. If they were all neutral bias they'd all end up with identical results, but that never happens.

When I think back to The Election The big thing was open borders, the free flow of emigration and the problems it has possed. Along with many secondary issues,, not least of which was EU dictates.
I was amazed at the result of the election,, but my feelings at the time was that it would not be alowed and if we were to exit the EU it would be in Name Only.
It now seems that my gut instincts were quite correct
Trouble is, we are WAAAAAY beyond it being in name only.
Specific example: We have lost the European Medicines Agency to Amsterdam.
I rather suspect that our influence within the EU has been massively diminished since the referendum.
Everything this government does is designed to ensure the establishment flourishes at the expense of ordinary people. This little item of business is entirely in keeping with the government's support for corporate business, regardless of the consequences for the British people and 'Brexit' is, by extension, no different.

What seemed to escape the good people who voted for Brexit, their Government intended an entirely different outcome to what the people who voted leave thought they were going to get.

Like you I was amazed. But unlike you my feelings were not as sanguine,and I hoped then and still hope that sanity might prevail. The UK will be "allowed ' to do whatever it wishes, but it still is unsure of what it wants. So I am starting to believe that the UK will stumble towards the worst possible outcome.

Even at this late stage, it isn't too late to change our mind and tell the EU we have decided to remain. I believe we should do exactly that and if the thick racists and multi-millionaires don't like it, they can F-off and live in a non-EU racist country. I'm certain they will be made very welcome.
