Yes I have seen those. But my goodness they do not come cheap and I am not a wealthy woman. Though once we're out of the EU and more countries can sell stuff to us without the EU putting a tariff on top prices will come down (oh how the remainers and socialists will scream). But not enough I fear for me to be able to get a Haibike! But thanks for the suggestion.

That's a spot check figure, and still leaves a Tory minority. Labour and LibDem alone outnumber them, without counting the SNP and others.
It shows Theresa May still fails to convince, her general election decline in support continuing.

I’m surprised they are still doing these polls. They have a consistent track record of providing useless information. I don’t know why anyone publishes, refers to or acknowledges anything they predict. A random number generator would provide more reliable data.

Don't read too much into it, one person out of 100 switches side.
You need monthly average for statistical significance.
The main point of discussion is the brexit question.
Right to leave: 28/29 May: 40, now: 44, up 4.
Wrong to leave: 28/29 May: 47, now: 44, down 3
Since before the last GE a year ago, the trend is consistent, more people find that it's wrong to leave. You can put it down to brexit fatigue but the basics are clear: the EU is not going to yield much, either we stop banging at a brickwall or be practical, adopt one of their schemes: Norway, Switzerland, Turkey or Canada.
Stop banging at a brickwall = Canada minus.

Oh there is no doubt Trump would be infinitely more effective in these negotiations than the shambles we have at the moment.
I think you will find yougov got the election almost spot on. The only one that did I might add.
Well I do hope you have a nice time. My husband and I are staying put this time - I want him to sort out the garden but he seems to be snoozing in his favourite chair so I am not holding much hope.

Donald Trump can huff and puff as much as he likes, intelligent people know that in the long term, he's got to sit down and talk sensibly. Even with the North Koreans. Otherwise, the Koreans are going to go for re-unification and throw the American soldiers out of their country.
Oh no. This is a lovely country. One only has to be clear on the parts to avoid.
'Intelligent people'. Thus assuming Trump is not. That's the sort of attitude that make a lot of people vote leave. We did not appreciate being labelled as stupid. Trump is many things - but stupid? To take on the entire Republicn establishment - and win. And then to take on Hilary and all her corporate money - and win. That took something more than stupidity.
Indeed it took more. It took lies, bluff and rabble rousing the easily led.
Proves once again that the people get the poor governance they deserve.

But that depends on how you define intelligence. Is it the ability to make money in business? or is it about delivering on his promises? jobs for the rust belt of America? Take on China's unfair trade?
He is very good on the first.
On the last two, he's not.
His tactics are like Luke Rheinhart in 'The Dice Man'. Create chaos, hoping something will come out of it. A quick result if he is lucky.
If he is not, he's not the one paying for breakages. That's a devious, not an intelligent, responsible man.

I'd challenge that he's even good at the first. Long ago he inherited his clever father's large and successful business and promptly took it into bankruptcy. The only thing that then saved him was the property boom, hugely inflating prices of what he still had making it possible for him to buy his way out of failure with loans.
It's not intelligence that enables him to stay afloat, it's just being ruthless enough to stoop to any level to get his own way, combined with utter contempt for all other people.

I got mine second hand. After trying a lot came to conclusion 2nd hand Haibike (700 miles) was better than new cheaper models. Have a look on James Cycles (of Rotherham) tho. Some big discounts on Haibike at moment. Good luck.
Made that point myself a few thousand posts back... Totally agree. And the 3rd world war some predicted he, d cause hasn't happened. American business is booming, he, s gained more support and seems to have made progress with North Korea... Oh, yes. He, s stupid.

down to tax cut, not much else.
the Dow Jones was 26,600+ when DT took over from Obama, it promptly dropped 3,000. It only recovered because of tax cuts (25,200, still less than when Obama left).
Every conservative government here has tried the tax cut trick, makes a lot of noises 'the economy is booming' - the effect does not last for long, people in the know take the profit out of their balance sheets for a 2-3 years, long enough for the next change of the guards.
DT claimed victory: steel factories re-open: 50,000 new jobs. Let's wait until the world retaliates, buying less American products, 100,000 job losses. That's the sort of things that make low tariff trading a success today. DT puts up duty, DT will destroy more jobs than reviving a few steel factories.
