In case you hadn't noticed, you cannot live by big nets of veg alone.
Maybe you don't need to eat Big Macs (well, I never do), but there are things we all need such as vitamin B12, which will not be present in veg.

It's all there, and its cheap, but do I agree, there is more effort involved in preparing a meal than there is in chucking a KFC down the kid's necks.
How times have changed, as a child I lived on things like Bubble and squeak, fried egg beans and chips, corned beef hash, and French toast, (Bread dipped in beaten egg and fried) usually served with Baked beans,and in Summer, salad served with wafer thin meat you could just about see through!
Sunday dinner was the exception when there was actually something other than potatos in the way of vegetables.Carrots too!
And there was usually on Friday Fish and Chips with Mushy peas in greaseproof paper and newspaper along with diced mint leaves in Vinegar.
No Chicken of course, except on Christmas Day
On holiday outings with British Rail Holiday runabout tickets mother used to make Cheese and tomato sandwiches the night before and wrap them in greaseproof paper, next day they had a unique soggy texture and a flavour I can still remember with delight.

Back when I was around four or five, my parents had friends round for drinks and nibbles (or whatever they called it then), for which there were sandwiches. My abiding memory is of having leftover sandwiches fried for breakfast the next day - whether they had cheese, ham, fish paste, or anything else. (Cucumber was NOT acceptable.)
I don't think I have ever got over eating the dregs from yesterday. (Partner does not appreciate this.)

I see that another billionaire has waded into the Brexit debate and donated £400000. No doubt Oldgroaner will be telling us that this billionaire stands to benefit in some way, probably by reducing the U.K. workforce into slavery via erosion of employment rights. Or that he will more easily be able to shield his wealth at a cost to other, less well off, individuals. The billionaire Brexit plot continues.
Edit: I’ve just read a bit more and the billionaire is George Soros, who is backing remain. This rather undermines OG’s notion that Brexit is “a plot.” Oops!

The amusing thing I find about the governments predictions of the areas that will suffer most, Birmingham and the North East, is that they were the most strongly for Brexit. They are not going to be happy bunnies.
Here in firmly Labour and Remainer London, we're doing well and are forecast to be far less affected by Brexit.

Maybe the EU should just invade that blue area and put up a hard border? The Queen would be banished to Sandringham, the Prince of Wales to Wales... Scotland would say "can we be blue too?" We might keep them (for the whisky).That's me alright then.

They didn't want him in the first place so I don't think he'd be too welcome.
Anyway it's a false title. When King Henry 8th ruled that Wales was a part of England, i.e. a principality, it indeed could have a presiding prince.
But once it was later ruled that Wales was a country in it's own right, the title ceased to be valid and should have been immediately discontinued. There are of course no princes of Scotland and Ireland, also countries in their own right like Wales.
Lesser titles are permissible of course, Dukes of Edinburgh and Cornwall for example.

This wonderful trade deal with China....
A few years back the Canton Fair was renamed the Chinese Import and Export Fair. At the same time they had part of a hall devoted to imported products,relative to the export part it was probably less than 1%.
There was an English guy showing a skateboard with a clever suspension that allowed it to flip yet land pretty square,he was hoping to sell the idea to a chinese manufacturer as a joint venture.
I asked him was he worried about it being 'ripped off',the site of the chinese all taking high res photos of it didnt seem to bother him because he had a design patent on it.....hehe!!!!!!
I took a design for a hydraulic handbrake to China,it had a clever lock mechanism,last time I went to the Fair I counted 28 booths that had 'ripped off' the handbrake,available in all the colours.
Trade is a 2-way street,the chinese are better at it than we are,remember that Mr Liam Fox when you open up our underfinanced/overpaid industries to the might of the chinese manufacturing,without any EU protection.

I don't know about dealbreaker but it really will be heartbreaking for millions in the UK if we are forced to continue producing such classics as 'Boom bang a bang', 'Sing little birdie' or 'Jack in the box'.
The only potentially good news I can see in 'Brexit' is that we might be disqualified from further song contests.......moreover, if it were to be announced tomorrow that our football nations were also to be disbarred from European competitions, there would be mass disobedience in pursuit of special dispensation or mass demands for a further referendum.
Anyone reading this verse will now be haunted by the lyric for the next 24 hours....guaranteed!
