Brexit, for once some facts.

.... and its as if I might have known what I was talking about.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-36680572

"The company's links with the UK go back 170 years. And Mr Maier, who campaigned for a Remain vote, insists that Britain is still a good place to do business.

"We are not going to run away from the British market. We are committed here. It's a great market," he told the BBC.

But he warned that the uncertainty which has followed the vote to leave the EU would have soon have consequences.

He said: "Short term, in terms of any investment decisions you want to make here, especially those that result in exporting to the European Union, they will be on ice. No question about that."

And you believe that KTM. How can eu afford to have same tariff on Audi, BMW,Merc,KTM,Rolls Royce ( Auto) and Porsche coming this way. Its ridiculous. They cant.
Ice ? Perhaps short term whilst all the BS is banded about. Pre and during negotiations old rules continue.. Fact is eu actually wants us to delay iinvoking art 50, in hope we don't. Its all a game of poker but we have best hand. They need our market just as much as we need theirs, probably more.
Seen who want to negotiate now. Fecking Blair, should be fine with Junkhers both utterly corrupt and immoral.

Lets look at that more closely.
They are quoting a procedure we agreed to which is not morally corrupt, to do anything else would be.
They are refusing to bow to us blackmailing them by a "Show of force"
They hold all the cards and you say "Bring it on"
This in no way shows desperation on their part, the appropriate word is determination, and their patience is running out, as are our options.
This is a clear demonstration of your complete inability to face the facts, nothing more.
Now the decision is made a common view is being observed that we are all brexiteers now, we should unify around our democratic vote and get on with. I am pleased that at least our government is firmly taking that view
To do otherwise would inflict appalling demage to this country.
I hope in time you will come around to this view and put aside your disagreement of the decision which I respect and your hatred of our democratic process which I disagree and remember which side is in your best interests. It certainly is not the Junkers of this world

@BrendanJ
I don't pay much attention to Osborne.
If we were to negotiate with France, Germany, Spain individually, we'd do well but we are going to negotiate with 'fortress Europe' five times our size in $ terms. There isn't much that they have to buy from us, they can wait indefinitely for us to come begging if they want to.
the consensus among the economists is that we will have a technical recession or at least very low growth in the next two to three years while the economy self reorganizes. We already trade with the whole world, the only area of immediate growth for us is not the 27. Some of our factories and companies will move to EU countries in the next few years, not balanced by inward investments. For the rest, trade will grow with time. Hence the consensus on projected GDP that it will take the 'nike's woosh' shape. Hopefully, we'll recover the losses within 10 years and grow faster after that.

Wow we better sign up this super statesman straight away, before he defects to the superstate, what an asolutely deluded monster that man is who has never denied his ambitions to be President of Europe no less
If there is such a thing he must surely be evil incarnate
Come on guys don't side with the dark side

Why can't they? Of course they can... we're not going to buy any other cars are we? They're not going to stop us buying them, they are just going to cost us more.

You think we have a good hand.

We simply do not.

Did you see the UKIP Lord, ( I can't remember his name) saying we should blackmail the EU, because we can hold the 3million EU citizens here hostage, because they only have 1.2million of us over there. What a joke!

What's he going to do threaten to kick out all these hard working people who are propping up our NHS and many other business and services, and we'll get back a load of retires and ex con's from Spain. Brilliant. That'll be good.

What's more to point in all our discussion..
Luxembourg is richest nation in EU by fair means or fowl In our stand for free movement ( which I agree on BTW, if done fairly and controlled) how many Romanian Gypsies are living under motorway bridges in Luxembourg? I,ll tell you .. None. Do they have a Sangette ? No. Because Junkhets wants free movement but not to Luxembourg. Mmm very liberal .

Trex, I still take the view that that is still on the negative side but accept it cannot be proved either way, time will tell. But please accept that now we must push onwards with our best hand and not play down our chances and concede things which in being so defeatist would only be self fulfilling
The arguements about the vote are now over, the decision taken lets now unify and move as one

ok, because shipping cars from the USA, who we don't have a trade agreement with currently is working really well for the US brands here isn't it.

Nissan, Mini and the rest who currently build in the UK, will move plants to EU if we leave the single market, because they'll want access to it. So if the EU loose a few sales to the UK because of the tarriffs, they'll gain by getting all the manufacturing back. So we'll be left with nothing... they are only here because of kick backs and access to EU market.

I, ve always wondered why it rains all time in Hull..its that fecking great depression stuck there..
Your knowledge of Hull is pretty much on a par with your general attitude.
Since the majority voted FOR Brexit your assertion makes as much sense as you usually provide: very little
There wasn't one anyway till enough fools voted to damage the future of the nation, and are now realising they have achieved exactly nothing that benefits them, none of the promises made will come true.
Now you make clarion calls to all make this retreat back into the past work?
For the benefit of the people they thought they were voting against?
Get real!
Not buying it, you clear up the mess you made, it's yours after all.
And lets be honest you care about money and are not really interested in the well being of the people are you? not once have you mentioned what will happen to them.
They are just collateral damage aren't they?
Who cares about them when there is profit to be made by speculation rather than work?
This has begun to dawn on them and the mood is not good, it's not depression, its anger.

OG

Think you should do some research on Junkhers...then have a rethink on your superstate. He really is appalling .Through his shaninigans the EU have allowed Luxembourg to become richest nation ( on gdp per person) with arguably illegal tax laws ( definitely immoral) to the cost of rest of countries. Really is terrible. And in mean time Spain, Greece ,Portugal in almost absolute poverty. And you call us anti social. You have not got a clue OG. The EU is worse than corrupt.
Junkhers make Farage look like Mandela.
Each country governs itself but you have forgotten that and pretend that fiscal responsibility is controlled by the EU, our own Governments measures have already created beggars on the streets here in Hull we see them every day.
You are making a Tin whistle into a Trumpet as usual.
