I,m back...just holed up in St Cyprien, blowing 40 mph..anyhow..

Much as I understand and actually agree with some of your last posts sentiments you still mix up your opinions with accepted truths.
Its an accepted truth the world is not flat. Its an opinion Trident/ Nuclear deterrent has not kept world ( well our world) free from invasion or catastrophic war.
Yes , obviously if Trident were ever used we have all lost. The truth is in the fact it is designed from.offset to never have to be used, but I do see sense in your alternative "opinion".
I have read Corbyn,s defence policy, its a shambles. In reality it should make him unelectable..in our current state it probably makes him favourite.( When asked about Trident Corbyn answered..."well I wouldn't scrap it but I,d never ever give command to use it" .Well actually Jeremy, you just scrapped it..totally and utterly fecked it. Its now totally and utterly useless. Scrap. Junk. He simply can not become PM being so naive. Never , ever..ever.
Having said all that I would like to know the general public's view on nuclear deterrent. Does it lean towards your views (OG's)or mine. ( I think MAD has stopped a nuclear war happening, there are noises now being made that many countries think they could stop missiles at source..That view throws MAD into madness...a preemptive strike to destroy 90% of opponents arms and hit remaining 10% after launch..heard that theory put forward..worrying times)
Ps.
Tom. Totally agreed with your views on BBC..It has become appalling. We pay BBC a license fee to indoctrinate us..Crazy.
But as a proviso...how much time do folk actually spend being conned by BBC, Daily Mail, AAV, or whatever as opposed to sitting at PC/ phone reading/ posting such rubbish as this lot..OG hasn't got time to read Daily Mail, he,s either pedalling up towards Fyling Dales or posting on here.
And don't tell us you never read Daily Mail, your an expert on it,must read it at top of Sutton Bank..
Pray tell me some left whinger how on earth could we ever vote into power a party with Diane Abbott in it..let alone Corbyn. If or when World and mankind ever actually grows up and becomes civilised in its entirety, well yes I,d vote for Corbyn. Reckon he,s about 300 years before his time. In mean time leaders need to be a little more pragmatic and decisive.
BTW..I haven't decided how I,m voting yet. Nobody has actually impressed as yet.
