From a friend who voted 'Leave' and is now rather worried with all that has come out since last June..........

The other day I needed to go to the local NHS hospital but not wanting to sit there for 4 hours,

I put on my blue jacket and pinned a plastic ID card I had made from the internet on to the front of it.

When I walked into the waiting room, I noticed that 3/4 of the people got up and left. I guess they decided that they weren't that sick after all.

That cut at least 3 hours off my waiting time.

Here's the patch:

image001.jpg

Feel free to use it the next time you're in need of quicker medical treatment at your local hospital.

It also works at all supermarkets and has saved me hours.

At the Laundrette, three minutes after entering I had my choice of any machine, most still running!

Don't try it at McDonald's though....
.....the whole staff disappeared and I never got my order!

Also.......... never wear it while trying to get a taxi!!

Tom

From Reuters
"
UK government has no intention of revoking Article 50 - May's spokesman
"We have no intention of revoking Article 50," the spokesman told reporters.

"The British people were very clear (that) they want us to leave the European Union. Article 50 is the mechanism by which we start that process, so this government is very clear that it will deliver on the result of that referendum."

Ignoring for a moment that is was at best a marginal difference in favour of leaving.
What right have these people to decide that the voting public cannot change their minds if the price is too high?
The contract offered was actually one of SAVINGS that we could invest in the NHS instead.
Now this has become punishing price rises and more austerity, which is not as advertised.
Further the contract has been changed to being that negotiated (or not) by one person without the customers (us) being able to Cancel the contract without penalty.
Who in their right mind can be happy with being railroaded into such an idiotic arrangement?
Not good enough there should be a cancellation clause as there is in every other deal that people get involved in.
Otherwise this has become a Dictatorship.

Government offer a referendum. People vote to leave. Government act on result. It all sounds good to me.

If you don't like it, have a word with Tony and Mangledbum. They are your champions. :) still laughing.

Having switched off your critical faculties over this nonsense Gamble
You are willing to accept that a woman you have no time for with motives you profess to despise is making a momentous decision that you can't object to?
And after Brexit ? will you still be laughing?
"Who in their right mind can be happy with being railroaded into such an idiotic arrangement?"
Do you enjoy being led by a ring through the nose like a Donkey?
Now it's my turn to laugh!:)
We are in the previously unimaginable situation where a mass decision based on nothing more than a flight of fancy supported by liars and a lifelong deceit by various UK Governments and press has become a headlong and irreversible landslide into grave error.
Worst of all the Quarter of the population that voted for this is dragging the Three Quarters that didn't down into the Cess pit with them.
And you laugh, do you?

That is merely your perception of the situation. As much as I despise May, I think the UK - EU relationship will be more favourable for the UK after this process has run its course.

Because someone voted differently to you, that does not make them foolish, gullible, easily led or any of the other things. It simply means that they believe leaving the EU serves their circumstances better than remaining does. In the case of the recent referendum, more people expressed a preference for leaving than expressed a preference for remaining. That is all there is to it.

The only people being led by the nose are those who are having difficulty in accepting the majority decision. But I suppose it better to be gently guided than to receive a 50 KV taser based cattle prod up the jacksy.

Maybe things will change now that Tony and Lord Mangledbum have positioned themselves as "the faces of remain." Who knows? :)

Rot! the vote was clearly distorted by people not having the faintest idea of what was involved, and being misled, and as proof I offer the Elephant in the Room which is quite simply
Even the government have no idea of the consequences of this action, so if they haven't even now after all this time, how can the Brexit voters have one?

What is abundantly clear is we are taking a monumental risk on nothing more substantial than the Toss of a Coin, and leavers Gloat over some imaginary patriotic victory when in fact it is a case of
Fools rush in where wise men and women have more sense than to tread.
And all despite the fact that not a single promise made to gain the leave Vote has come true.

Where are all these people who have been so badly deceived? If they consider themselves to have been led up the garden path, where are they? I don't see them, I don't hear them. Maybe they are an invention, a fictitious creation intended to deceive, intended to make us think that we have all been lied to.

Maybe they are lining up behind Lord Mangledbum?

Regarding promises not coming true. If I may quote KTM, "we have not left yet."

Whilst driving today listening to Tony Blair quotes made me almost laugh out loud, it wasn't what he said but thinking how close to bursting Tom would be trying to deal with all the hypocrisy and trying to find some reconciliation in remainers minds, combine that with OG,s extra detention in co op window really had me chuckling. You couldn't make this up; Blair now sounding like OG and Tom...its brilliant..
OG might even be Blair, oh forgot he cant be he,s already somebody else???
Could be Tom I suppose, all singing from same hymn sheet now. Lets hope Prescot was listening, must be another of OG and Tom's heroes, pretty useless left hook( or was it right cross) though...Ah ah ah..
I was sat under my bridge laughing my head off !!!

Where are these people who were decieved? everywhere.
You don't see them? Wearing Brexit Blinkers it would seem.
They are still being fed the same lies by both the Government and the Press that are afraid that many of them have at last rumbled that they have been duped, and may not stay passive while things go badly wrong.

Now that Tony Blair and Lord Mangledbum have established themselves as the identifiable faces of remain, does anyone think that they should consider teaming up with staunch remainer Keith Vaz? This trio would suit the complexion of the remain cause very adequately.

I'm sure we would all feel a lot safer if instead of suffering bouts of delusion you concentrated on your driving.
If you don't take care you could end up going through that Co op window unintentionally.

From the Torygraph
"
Theresa May attends House of Lords Article 50 debate in person as peers begin Brexit discussions"
That must have raised a laugh, like the scene from last of the summer wine when Compo wanted Cleggy to go and speak to Marina and he refused saying
"I'm not going in there, I've seen her Frighten Sailors"
