Lets put this into perspective OG always posts the truth as he sees it and makes justifiable claims where he perceives things being done wrongly
You are the one that uses any and all opportunities to launch into personal attacks on anyone you disagree with.
What the heck as "Conspiracy theories" to do with what the Government did with the Elderly?
Good grief, is this from Amnesty International a conspiracy theory then?
"
UK: Older people in care homes abandoned to die amid government failures during COVID-19 pandemic
It's not the case that it had been done by mistake or incompetence, but it wasn't
When you send hundreds of innocent old people from a place of relative safety and put them in harm's way resulting in mass deaths
Calling it a cull is being generous ,if China did that we have would have cried out and called it a far less pleasant name.

Try taking your own advice
"So either be objective all the time or leave it out. "
Even occasionally would be a vast improvement
OG Feck off.
Personal attack? Telling you that saying "this lot culled people" is offensive to all folk involved is a personal attack..
Whereas you call me an idiot, flecc calls me childish and I, m making personal attacks.
Pathetic.

Chill brother, as chomsky said
The smart way to keep people passive and obedient is to strictly limit the spectrum of acceptable opinion
Sort of as on here??
Where as you, ve got the god given ability to decide how people vote and then the right to criticise them for it.. Brilliant. Chomsky must have been impressed with you.

I don't know why you bother.
Let those that inhibit this thread wallow in their anti right prejudice and left wing fantasies.
And to defend OG, he isn't the most offensive in here. That accolade belongs to Agnew.
OG seems to think either calling people idiots or that, I assume, the Govt are culling people isn't offensive. I think that represents a degree of mental instability on his part.
Just do what the majority of sensible posters do. Retire from this thread. It's pointless.

After all, the rhetoric in here is futile. This government is going nowhere for a long long time.
Attitudes in here are typical of those that have kept Labour out of contention. Shame but there you go.
Another great post. You are right. Good idea.
Seems folk on here prefer to have a monopoly on their views. Alternative views not allowed.. Sounds just like our current Labour.
Looks like we, ll just have to put up with Tories until folk on here, Labour and current left wing learn some tolerance and understanding. Rather lacking at moment, so we get Boris... And it will be for foreseeable future.
OG wouldn't be happy without something to moan at and be unhappy about. Agnew just haunts place, hovering around waiting to be offended.
And, well, the trouble with God? He thinks he, s flecc.

Pathetic.
This lot meaning the Government are indeed offensive, referring to them in positive way happens to be offensive to me personally
Let's look at what they are up to shall we? In a country where people have to use food banks, you would expect ministers to spend wisely especially the Home Secretary
Here are her expenses

You posted this
"Looks like we, ll just have to put up with Tories until folk on here, Labour and current left wing learn some tolerance and understanding. Rather lacking at moment, so we get Boris... And it will be for foreseeable future. "

Which means by implication you are fine with the sort of profligate use of public money as in the above expenses, while people go hungry.
And still people like you expect them to be treated respectfully?

Pathetic hardly describes your opinion, not based on reality at all, is it?
We got Boris because people like you are easily gulled into agreeing with con merchants, and for no other reason.
Tolerance and understanding?
Lets see now
I am tolerant enough to respond to your posts even though I understand the weird motivation that drives them
What more can you ask?

Actually you couldn't be further from the truth if you tried, but alas that is true when applied to my poor wife due to advanced dementia, however even that isn't always without moments that are not amusing
We went for our second Covid jab today and had to wait outside, and needless to say she started to complain quite loudly about literally everything. People at first looked surprised but soon understood that this wasn't just a bad tempered outburst and they took to smiling and managed to convey they understood and sympathised, even though it was a continuous tirade.
In we went and they were very efficient, and had a discussion with me about whether I felt it was possible to actually detect what was a possible side effect and what was just the normal sort of comment and complaint which is typical of her condition.
Anyway we sat down to begin the statutory wait to see if either of us suffered and adverse reaction. immediately Pat asked me, when are we going to have the injection? and refused to believe me when I said we have sweetheart. I lost count of how many times this was repeated until after ten minutes one of the nurses came over and said to me" I've been listening to you struggling", then took Pat aside and confirmed that she had indeed had the jab.
Pat was all smiles after that until we were out of the building, then looked back and said "I thought we were going in there to get a jab or something."
Still smiling or at least making the attempt I took her home.

I don't actually look for things to moan about a quiet life would be wonderful

You are taking my comment completely out of context.
OG stated our country is culling certain members of society.
I pointed out if they are other countries with apparently worse death rates, by his argument, are doing same.
No countries are culling anyone with covid.
Perhaps if you spent more time examining OG's offensive statements than my use of data to refute a blatant irrational statement we might get a more informed debate than we have at moment.
OG's claim of Government (this lot could mean NHS, JCVI, Doctors etc) of culling people is same level of conspiracy as Polly and Chain ring denying covid exists, infact its far more offensive but as it plays into this threads general narrative objectivity goes out the window, until you want to quote it at me.
Bonkers.
So either be objective all the time Woosh or leave it out.
"this lot culling people" is as far removed from being objective as one can get... But it's OK from OG?
Some folk on here need to take a good look at what this thread has become.
OG continually insults, Agnew makes things up and then insults. Polly and Chainring and now OG put forward ridiculous conspiracy theories but garners your support. Well done.
(COVID-19) IS 100% FAKE

And in the mean time the EU's appalling behaviour has led to this. No doubt the anti Govt conspiracy theorists will support it.
Rather ironic, this could easily lead to a worse death rate in UK..

I'm not offended, but I'm afraid you're wrong. The uk's catastrophic performance over the pandemic wasn't an anomaly. It was a function of a boris led government. Which was a function of a misinformed electorate making a serious error of judgement. Mother nature is a great deal less tolerant of boris sized catastrophic errors of judgement than labour voters are of conservatives. We'll have the tories until their next cataclysmic clusterfuck that trumps the excess deaths and corruption and damage over covid and finally gets through to voters.

One way of viewing what has happened so far:

Pembrokeshire County Council Leader, Councillor David Simpson, has provided a further coronavirus update for Friday, March 26.

“On Tuesday we marked the one year anniversary of the first UK lockdown.

“It was a poignant moment and I’d like to once again extend my sympathies to everyone who has lost a loved one as a result of the pandemic.
“It occurred to me this week that the total UK death toll has now reached over 126,000 - more than the total population of Pembrokeshire.
“That really brings home the impact that coronavirus has had.

Anyone think Salmond has a chance? Or is it albalocks?
Probably not, the odds are against startups.

But if he succeeds, in combination with the SNP's pressure it would probably make Scottish independence a certainty.
