I'm very happy and cheerful as my humour in here shows and equally happy with most things in my life.Cheer up Flecc. Things aren't that bad. Are they..?
But of course I'm not married so that's not surprising.

Another Labour politician slaughtered by the Tory press, ceaselessly attacking him without justification for everything they could dream up.Just watching Michael Foot on a 1980s documentary. That didn’t work out well did it?
Sounds like Johnson in here, or in Guardian, or on BBC. We never learn do we.Another Labour politician slaughtered by the Tory press, ceaselessly attacking him without justification for everything they could dream up.
.
that's true though. On a lighthearted note, how about our expert physicists. They reckon that 90% of the universe we can't see, so they call it Dark Matter.
Thought it was the anti matter stuff. Just read Brief History of Time. Understood a few pages.that's true though.
'dark' is used to suggest that our instruments are not good enough to detect and measure energy at such low level, about 10 − 9 (one billionth) Joules of energy per cubic meter.
it's proven true in 1922 by the Stern-Gerlach experiment. Not sure I do but Stephen Hawking's assures us it's true
Agreed, and why i said on a lighthearted note, just teasing about experts.that's true though.

It's been on the cards for a while, suspect Bolsonaro has handled pandemic worse than any other leader in world, combine that with all their crowded living, poverty, poor health system and its a recipe for disaster.I suspect it's a combination of mismanagement by Bolsonaro and the new P1 covid variant found there, but Brazil is having a really hard time of it at the moment. Details found on the link below.
'Covid is taking over': Brazil plunges into deadliest chapter of its epidemic | Brazil | The Guardian
Brazil's health mismanagement is so bad that they are still having babies born with terrible deformities due to thalidomide still being inappropriately prescribed, over half a century since that should have ceased. It's been on the cards for a while, suspect Bolsonaro has handled pandemic worse than any other leader in world, combine that with all their crowded living, poverty, poor health system and its a recipe for disaster.
Got to sympathise, poor people living there. Must be a nightmare with no end in sight.
Hey .. I did that experiment as an undergrad.. Dab hand at ultra high Vacuums I wasit's proven true in 1922 by the Stern-Gerlach experiment.
A stream of silver particles are shot through a strong magnet bar which splits the stream into two.
was it necessary yet again to make this comment about someone you are hiding from?Tell my wife and I, ll get off for a few months..
Seems to me flecc you ain't too happy with way things are... Marriage, Brexit, Tories, Vaccine, Equality, Men not socialising with other men (which I, ve always thought a touch perverse) and women having vote. Good god what is world coming to.
Been married 40 years this year... We, ve nearly worked things out.. Wouldn't want to have brought up kids with anyone else tho.. And men dancing around camp fires singing ging gang gooly ain't my bag.. Fairly happy with things as they are... Including Tories, marriage, kids, grandkidsJohnson, vaccines , Mhra, PHE, living with Mrs,motor bikes, ebikes, boats, and even doing all cooking ..so can't grumble... Nobody would listen any how... Cheer up Flecc. Things aren't that bad. Are they..?
You listen and believe OG too much. You, ll end up manic depressive.
Look on brightside. We ain't got comrade Corbyn in no 10 and we, ve left EU.. And we, ve got some working vaccines for covid.
Good grief has the family brain cell been stimulated Zlatan?OG won't believe it.Not sure I do
Just waiting for the anti Covid poster to come up withHey .. I did that experiment as an undergrad.. Dab hand at ultra high Vacuums I was
It‘s contagious grief. These idiots “catch” grief for a person they’d never heard of a week ago. The same thing happened when Saint Diana of Children’s Hearts was killed. Silly men stood in the streets blubbering over a person they didn’t even know. It’s quite astonishing. This is a dangerous situation on Clapham common
And very unwise, all that will be achieved is more cases of Covid transmission
Not just that but it will be used as an excuse to impose even more stringent control of the public, as there is no way the police themselves can comply with Social distancing in this situation.
Torchlight procession are awfully familiar where a government either loses control, or is in fact engineering a confrontation to excuse tightening it's grip.
The people who turned up were foolish in the extreme, what good do they imagine it will do?
This also poses a danger for everyone of course. The higher the infection rate, the greater the probability of another dangerous variant emerging. It's been on the cards for a while, suspect Bolsonaro has handled pandemic worse than any other leader in world, combine that with all their crowded living, poverty, poor health system and its a recipe for disaster.

.. I was pretty good at interpreting Bragg's X-ray diffraction films.. those were the days my friend.Hey .. I did that experiment as an undergrad.. Dab hand at ultra high Vacuums I was
I sometimes forget this when we have a punch-up on here. It’s easy to forget that people have all sorts of personal issues to deal with away from a forum they occasionally drop into to vent their feelings.was it necessary yet again to make this comment about someone you are hiding from?

As it happens I have been happily married for 56 years now, and am caring for Pat as she descends into Dementia, every day as she dies a little more so do I.
Considering our situation, I'm not optimistic, just doing what I have to
and still arguing about a better future for everyone.
I don't fully agree with flecc's take on humanity, but most of it is a sane view of how society has developed and is now unstable.
Too much of that sort of thing when a youth can make your eyes go funny... I was pretty good at interpreting Bragg's X-ray diffraction films.. those were the days my friend.
