The language used in the US election fraud claims is starting to shift. It’s gone from, “no evidence of fraud“ to, “very little evidence of fraud“. So now, there is some evidence of fraud. Interesting.
No stone goes unturned in the search for evidence of fraud, or just Trump digging in....

The Justice Department's top election crimes prosecutor resigned Monday in protest after Attorney General William Barr told federal prosecutors that they should examine allegations of voting irregularities before states move to certify results in the coming weeks.

Richard Pilger, director of the elections crimes branch in the Justice Department's Public Integrity Section, told colleagues in an email that the attorney general was issuing "an important new policy abrogating the forty-year-old Non-Interference Policy for ballot fraud investigations in the period prior to elections becoming certified and uncontested." Pilger also forwarded the memo to colleagues in his resignation letter.

Pilger resignation email didn't make clear whether he plans to stay in the department in another capacity.

Barr's densely worded memo had told prosecutors they could take investigative steps such as interviewing witnesses during a period that they would normally need permission from the elections crimes section. It's not clear what practical effect the policy would have in an election in which President Donald Trump trails President-elect Joe Biden by tens of thousands of votes in several key states.

Barr didn't provide any indication that the Justice Department has come up with evidence to support Trump's claim of massive fraud in last week's election.

why is it that you don't mention Biden has 76.45 million votes , Trump 71.43 million votes.
Where is the fairness in it if Trump had won again?
That's before mentioning that Trump glorifies alternative truths, hate, division, white supremacists and misuse of government powers.

Suspicion triggers an investigation. An investigation produces the evidence, if it exists. If it was the other way around, nothing would ever be investigated because the evidence would already be known.

Behaviour in some counting stations was suspicious.

It’s a simple concept, I don’t know why people can’t grasp it.

That’s just the way it rolls. It’s like our system which saw the SNP gain strong representation in Parliament with thousands upon thousands of votes less than UKIP, who had zero representation for their massively larger number of voters.

You're behaving like a little spoilt child. Grow up.
This reminds me of a 'life-defining' (as he tells it) story from a friend of mine - let's call him Tony (not his real name but the story works better with a name).

Tony was born Turkish - his family moved here when he was about 6 - back in the 60s - and grew up in Colchester in the 70s and 80s. I met him when we both ended up at the same college at University.

Back then he said there was a lot of racism - real racism not the stuff they complain about today - and at school he was called the usual racist names - ni99er boy, c00n and the rest. So he ended up a fighter - and he was built to fight trust me - the guy is built like a barn door.

So by the time he got to his early 20s he was pretty much always getting into fights - he said at least one or two a month - and he'd never lost - he'd go out with a pack of mates looking for trouble - and often found it.

So this is the story of his last ever fight.

Him and his mates had gone out as usual for a drink on a Saturday night in places where things got a bit lively as the evening wore on - and sure enough some skin-heads came into the pub and started shouting racist obscenities and soon enough a fight broke out between his friends and the skin-heads. At the start he said there were about 10 of them and around the same number of his mates as all hell broke loose.

This went on for about 20 minutes but one by one his mates dealt with the skin-heads until there was just Tony and this one super-hard skinhead fighting - now on the street as they'd been kicked out of the pub.

Tony managed to trip the guy get him on the ground and went into 'destruction mode'. He had him completely pinned and was punching his face, he'd broken the guys cheekbone smashed his nose, there was blood everywhere - simply punching him again and again in the face.

At which moment - the skin-head looked up and with almost his last breath said

'You're gonna have to kill me ni99er boy'.

At which point Tony looked at the guy with his smashed face and blood everywhere and stopped. Just stopped. And never fought again - ever.

He said that was a defining moment of his life - that it was obvious nothing would change this guy's mind - nothing. That to continue like he was - was pointless - he was getting nowhere.

So he stepped off the guy - and walked away.

if it is just the way it rolls so why can't you accept that Biden is the probable winner?

"..and there are some good people on both sides " . Or "some people are telling me" The classic ploy of this false truth narrative is to use the nebulous "Some ", each and every time , and then continue with these unnamed "someones" and "some places " and doing "something " that is somewhat displeasing to ???.. and the " something " and "somewhere" keeps changing so these false truths cannot be unmasked.
Now there were perhaps 100 major counting centres, there were perhaps 1million polling stations . It would be incredible if some discrepancy or some glitch did not take place in one or other. But to assume that this is widespread or systematic is bonkers.
The only suspicious activity unmasked at present is that Trump did not win.
The great feature of conspiracy theories is that they can be thrown around like snuff at a wake, and the party then countering them with true facts and adaquate explanations ..assuming these accusations were made in good faith, are EXPLAINING.. and in the court of PR, when you are explaining you are losing.

And of course the reverse ..the Brexit party achieved greater representation at the Euro elections ,than their vote would suggest, because they were a single entity and the opponents to Hard-line Brexit were diffused. Under PR they would have had less seats at the EU Parliament.
Note had Trump not enticed Keyne to run as a spoiler, the Biden vote would have been more decisive.

Even Trump's old propaganda channel Fox News is giving claims of election fraud short shrift...

The UKIP result / apparent unfairness, depending on how you view it, was delivered within the rules and I don’t remember any reports of suspicion behaviour during the count.

Because behaviour that invites suspicion took place in some counting stations during the US elections, it needs to be looked into to determine whether it’s bollicks or if evidence of fraud exists.

To simply dismiss the suspicion, take a knee, do a bit of looting and set fire to stuff, isn’t the correct procedure. If nothing untoward took place, nothing will be found, but at least take a look.

I agree with that.
so far, no widespread irregularities were found.
So why don't you accept that Biden has apparently won until some Court gives Trump a reason to dispute the result?

Ah - Ha! The Attorney General has spoken..
And so it begins,

BREAKING: AG Bill Barr Has Authorized the Department of Justice to Look Into "Substantial Allegations" of Voter Fraud
  • 79.2K Views

On Monday, Attorney General Bill Barr authorized the Department of Justice to look into "substantial allegations" of voter fraud in the 2020 election.

Barr announced that investigations “may be conducted if there are clear and apparently-credible allegations of irregularities that, if true, could potentially impact the outcome of a federal election in an individual State.”

Not exactly true.. AG Barr ,INSTRUCTED staff to look for irregularities. This was seen as gross interference by the most senior civil servant in the election fraud section of the DoJ ,who has condemned it and resigned in PROTEST.
The interpretation is that this is an illegal and gross violation of States rights to conduct elections. I expect States AGs to refuse to cooperate at any level... .

I do agree that Biden has won the count. What I don’t know is if the count was legitimate. From what I have seen and read, suspicious behaviour took place at some counting stations.

That suspicious behaviour maybe due to officials having to make decisions as circumstances quickly changed. In the heat of the moment, officials may not have realised how their actions might appear to onlookers and observers. It could be as simple as that, or it could be something more sinister.

What I think should happen now is this. Trump’s officials should say exactly how they believe fraud has taken place and where it is most prevalent. Democrat and Republican representatives should assemble a team of counters upon whom both sides agree and the votes in the allegedly most fraudulent area, recounted. If no irregularities are found, that should end any further allegations. If irregularities are found.......take it from there and expand the investigation.

Don’t know why anyone would object to this.

Then that will fuel suspicion even more. If there is nothing to hide, transparency is the best antidote to any allegation.
