That said flecc is right we're all carrying something that might effect someone else but not us.
Even our own can harm us in some instances. The ten forms of bacteroides that assist in our digestion and nutrient utilisation do cause severe problems such as absesses all over the body on the rare occasions they escape the intestines.

Boris in a high viz telling all to sing rule Britannia (kid you not).
Judging by the British contempt of the law shown in all the posts about increasing power and assist speed, compared with the Continental obedience, surely the words of Rule Britannia should be changed:

From "Britannia rules the waves"

to "Britannia waives the rules"
.

Except when it comes to u turns (masks, a levels, o levels, soon masks again). I've never experienced any government that gives everyone (except themselves) a month's notice of an impending u turn. It's like watching a myopic driver reverse an eighteen wheeler on a country lane. If this is how they deal with a virus, brexit will be hilarious.

Shucks! :)

Wouldn't that be quite a large burden on RoI?
I don't see why. We have already built the customs yards . We are already inspecting freight as do the French. If the added work is excessive, the EU will subvent. Unless lots of additional shipping comes to Ireland ..which is not realistic, and would be self financing with port dues, I cannot see a practical problem. What has already happened is an increase in direct Ireland France services.. Brittany ferries have retasked ships into Rosslare, and Irish Continental has moved a large ferry into Dublin.
It might even be a nice little earner for say Rosslare or Cork, if the EU and Ireland did a pre clearance EU inspection for UK exports into the EU.. similar to the deal we have at Shannon and Dublin Airports for US bound travellers. Lets assume that Dover Calais becomes a truck park, then a Holyhead to Dublin and then Cork to Brest becomes attractive,.

Switched on bbc news a moment ago. Boris in a high viz telling all to sing rule Britannia (kid you not). Undeniably the best prime minister ever. Almost as great as the demographic of conservative knobs who are impressed by that kind of contrived ****.
Wonderful words, aren't they?

"Britons never will be slaves."

But it is fine for everyone else to be enslaved to the mighty British empire, the rich, the nobles, and anyone else who can become part of the establishment. For them to be sold by British "merchants", to produce sugar, cotton and so many other things that keep Britain rich.

Never true anyway, in every one of the very many times we've been invaded we've lost and conceded victory, either locally or nationally.

Britons were routinely taken as slaves, individually by the Vikings, nationally by the Romans and effectively as slaves by the Normans.

And in this country we are arguably all slaves of the rich and powerful with our government as slavemaster.

And for the neurotic (and I'm one) pulmonary actinomycosis (tooth abscess that create bacteria that accidentally end up in the lungs and cause lung infection). Its fascinating, like discovering blood vesels in the eye are in front of the retina. as an organic design we were either a Friday afternoon job (and god was going through a divorce) or several million years of evolution hasn't helped much.

Very true and illustrates perfectly how the BLAME crowd are so short of evidence to support their imagined racism that they find it necessary to dig up a culture which existed hundreds of years ago. A culture inflicted by dead people on other people who are now dead. That’s the best they can do. And if that doesn’t work, they manufacture a racist incident. One such as that black MP woman with the gob constructed a couple of weeks ago. Thankfully that was kicked into touch at an early stage.

These people need to stop searching for reasons to excuses their own personal failures and inadequacies and put that effort into bettering themselves. That’s the real issue, the word “effort.” Easier to BLAME.

Brexit LIVE: Boris ordered to ditch EU withdrawal agreement – replace with sovereign deal
BORIS JOHNSON has been ordered to ditch his current withdrawal agreement with the European Union and replace it with a deal that is "sovereignty compliant" as the prospect of a no deal Brexit looms ever closer.

Amusingly the idiot readers are blaming May for the deal Johnson signed up to.
Was there ever a time when the intelligence level of the Brexit voters fell lower?
The EU will simply not agree, why would they trust this government ever again?

I’ve lost track. Is the Sovereign Deal the Oven Ready Deal, or is the Oven Ready Deal the Withdrawal Agreement which Johnson agreed to and signed, but blames Theresa May. Thinking about it a bit more, The Oven Ready deal can’t be either of those, because the Oven Ready Deal was the deal to “get Brexit done.” So let’s forget the other two and sign the Oven Ready one.

deal or no deal, it does not matter much to the bike industry.
HMRC made the point of continuation very clear. All the 145 anti-dumping measures that the EU have at the moment will stay, all existing tariffs will stay.
Basically, we don't change a thing.
That, to me, points to a possibility of climbing down big time after the Brexit Victory Day (BV or VE Day? Victory over the EU).

Either we have to smoke some of the cheapest, nastiest fags in the UK. Or we get roasted?

You're assuming that it's about "personal failures and inadequacies" and "putting effort into bettering oneself". That's a very tired bit of conservative "I dragged myself up by my bootstraps" narrative/delusion. It's interesting that you refer to the labour mp's experience. I doubt very much its constructed. The met engage in profiling that is consciously or subconsciously prejudiced. I say that as a BAME member who has been stopped several times since driving a tesla instead of a previous fiat. And, no offence, but id have thought the average conservative voter an authority on personal inadequacy and failure (having given us boris, brexit, excess deaths and blown their and our childrens' life chances)
Edit - I dont think bettering oneself - or blaming others when one hasn't- has much to do with ethnicity. Take boris and the current electorate and brexit - experts at blaming others (the eu) for consecutive failures of conservative, neoconservative government.

I can't stand all this politeness just say what you mean.
Pillock will do nicely for instance, and it avoids confusion.
He is one of course but I'm rather fond of his gruesome turn of phrase, and we Pillocks have to stick together after all.
