One possible reason for what appears to be lower death rates from the CV could be this:-

'One alternative suggestion is that infectious doses of the Covid-19 virus, transmitted from one person to another, may be getting smaller thanks to social distancing. Lower doses would then be easier for our immune systems to tackle, so death rates would drop.'

More details can be found here.
Unfortunately this is a theory without substance. There is No evidence of reduced mortality. What there is is evidence of a younger cohort and better outcomes when people are being treated in hospitals which are below capacity. Again I must refer to the Global figures and the 5% mortality rate..Now that is down from the 11% of many months ago..but that is explained by the wider span of tests.

Not really. You know when something is so badly broken that you have absolutely nothing left to work with when trying to fix it? That’s what it’s like with you. I’ve got nothing to work with.
You mean a bit like I feel as a remain voter in a country in which 18 million of the electorate first voted for brexit and then for boris? Nudge. Nudge. Wink. Wink. Wink. Wink.

Well the Daily Express is having a field day. There is a potential Brexit connection. Phil Hogan the EU Trade Commissioner ,who will be in charge of any UK /EU deals post December, is implicated, was the most high profile guest and has been damaged . I do not expect him to resign , but it is an embarrassment.
It doesn’t really matter what he does, stay or go. He’s a nobody, an EU stooge punching above his weight in return for having Euros pushed up his arse.

Did no-one think of the headlines? Something like "Carry the dog?"? (Note: I am not saying that. It is my imagination of what sub-eds round the globe will think. And some might print.)

Do either of them have the wind and sun beaten look even a couple of hours in the sun usually produces?

Understood, but I tend to keep The Express and The Mail off my radar, I don't think they represent the majority of us and certainly not the best of us.

Maybe ..but in this case he is OUR Bullyboy. And he is tough.. But whether he is tougher than Ursula Van der Lean ,who has requested his dossier is another question.

He is a little big for the leprechaun market, his nickname was Big Phil the enforcer. At present he has a veneer of gentility .. don't be fooled.
