Just found out I’ve been furloughed! It’s just a hobby job on a zero hours contract with the local council sports initiative. I feel a bit guilty, I don’t need this money at all.

Best accept it, before long we'll all be facing some very steep tax increases as the true cost of this little episode is realised.
.
To be honest, I think as a furloughed worker, I think I should pay it back via a decrease in my tax allowance until the money is recovered. Only seems fair to do it that way.

Did someone say that they would be out to get Kier (or Sir Kier - I don't care)?

Health minister Nadine Dorries deletes tweet sharing anti-Starmer smear

Labour has expressed alarm after a series of Conservative MPs, including a minister, shared a video tweeted by a hard-right Twitter account which falsely claimed Sir Keir Starmer obstructed the targeting of grooming gang victims when he led the Crown Prosecution Service.
The tweeted video was shared by Nadine Dorries, who is now a junior health minister, as well as Telford MP Lucy Allan and Maria Caulfield, who represents Lewes. All expressed alarm at what the video purported to show, with Dorries calling it “revealing”.
Unfortunately for those that circulated the video it certainly was revealing!

Money should only be taken from the people with most responsibility for loss
Why should theworkers pay for Government incompetence? unless they voted Tory?

There should be a discount to make up for the extra time out of work and wages lost due to both the exaggerated length of the furlough period due to Government incompetence, and the fact that it was necessary at all due to incompetence in the lack of preparation when they had plenty of warning
All to be paid out of Conservative party funds

I usually get figures from

It has lots of options of which countries, deaths/cases, total/per million, single day/rolling average, etc.
I keep several tabs open and refresh them early afternoon each day. It collects data from various fairly offical sources.

It say 494 deaths for UK latest reading (presumably yesterday).

To compare UK and Germany
Some of our totals make you wonder how they were arrived at without testing

I see even number 10 has had to act:

Downing Street has rebuked Conservative MPs, including a minister, for sharing a video from a far-right Twitter account that falsely claimed Sir Keir Starmer obstructed the prosecution of grooming gang members when he led the Crown Prosecution Service.

A Downing Street spokesman said the MPs, including Nadine Dorries, a health minister, had been spoken to by whips after sharing the misleading 22-second clip.

The video was shared by Dorries as well as the Telford MP Lucy Allan and Maria Caulfield, who represents Lewes. All commented at what the video purported to show, with Dorries calling it “revealing”.

I don’t think Party funds would even scratch the surface of this debt. It’s going to cause some hardship for a long time to come.

But who did this? And why?
The same people who have been burning down the 5G masts. They found that the authorities were building new ones at a faster rate than they could destroy them.

Eammon Holmes (evil generous and undercover leader of the citizens against 5G alliance) therefore decided to destroy our electricity supply and so end 5G signals and stop the spread of Corona virus all in one go.
