frankly that's a bit rich. By voting brexit you have destroyed much of the UK economy and our as much as your livelihood. That's aside from what you've done to the Maastricht treaty, world stability and democracy. A little contrition would be a good starting pointNot much point posting anything good or otherwise on this thread. It has been hijacked by remoaners who do not have a good word to say about the UK and want to constantly run it down.
No we want to avoid fools intent on damaging the UK from imagining they are acting as some sort of patriotic movement. Not much point posting anything good or otherwise on this thread. nobody hijacks this thread. There are fewer brexiters than remainers, that's all. Do you still have to ask yourself why our government still has no plan? the truth is brexiters won the vote and not the argument. Not much point posting anything good or otherwise on this thread. Tom! I nearly missed this one.Tillson, you really ought to think before you punch those keys. It is not me who is responsible for the inconsistencies emerging between the government's public posturing and the message being broadcast by its media wing. I have simply drawn attention to it.
I stand by everything I have ever said about the British media so there is no inconsistency on my part.
Why did you choose to include those two particular political activists, both women and both non-white, in your ridiculous diatribe? A lot of people might well take from your selection that besides making up your own rules about apostrophe usage - - you are also probably a misogynist as well as racist.
Apart from the rules of basic grammar, there are other old adages worth remembering so one doesn't come across as stupid quite as often as you do in print; remember the one that goes, 'Sometimes it's better to keep one's mouth shut and be thought a fool than to open it and prove it.'?
Tom
Classic tillson, classic[emoji1]Tom! I nearly missed this one.
You are correct regarding my use of the apostrophe and were right to bring the misuse to my attention. I am but a comprehensive school educated man. However, I have always enjoyed writing and I take delight from using the rich selection of word's available to us within the English language. But I am prone to mistake's .
Sadly and with a slight pang of envy, I must concede that I am unlikely to ascend to the literary heights attained by yourself. I am humbled by your online presence.
I understand that you were angry and humiliated after being exposed as a rank hypocrite. It's good to be angry and the emotion represents the commencement of the healing process. Lashing out is therapeutic too and it will help you to drive the hypocrisy from your soul. In your darkest hours old tom, cherish the notion that you will recover. No one has ever died of hypocrisy. I am completely confident that some time in the future you will be cured and then you will no longer present a menace to civilised society.
I forgive you my friend. Best wishes.
Thank you oldgroaner. Have a peaceful evening.Classic tillson, classic[emoji1]

Exocise that hypocrisy from your body old tom. You shall be cleansed. This is a straight lift from the meeting between two of the three biggest numpties in the planet. Brexidiots will get all moist at some of the love scenes:
The other numpty seems far too busy supporting 'Brexit' on this Pedelecs thread to keep up with the latest material about his fantasy führers.

by the way is very likely part of a paving of the way for a Chinese sovereign wealth fund buyout. now that the pound is weak, many uk assets are relatively cheap. there is a fine line between "invest in" and "buy out", brexit is accompanied more by a selling of the family silver than an investing in the family business.
You too!Thank you oldgroaner. Have a peaceful evening.
Ps. Inflation is lower than predicted, in fact its fallen slightly. Sleep well my friend.
If true, this could be the first signs of a compromise which will give both sides of the BREXIT argument a way forward. Very early days, but a compromise is a sensible option.Telegraph this morning
"
Angela Merkel signals key concession on Brexit: German chancellor hints that freedom of movement is negotiable.
And from the Express
"
Merkel in Brexit U-TURN as she hints Britain WILL be able to opt out of free movement
ANGELA Merkel has hinted she is willing to climb down on her previous threats and allow Britain to opt out of the free movement of people when Theresa May finally triggers Article 50.
And the Daily Mail
"
Boost for Brexit deal on ending free movement as Angela Merkel hints at new migration limit after Boris savages EU's open borders
If true then that marks the death of Brexit as far as most of the Electorate who voted for it are concerned.
Why suffer for nothing?
But the die hard brexit fans in the Mail and Express regard this as a sellout, it will be a hard sell to reach them. The reader's comments are hostile. If true, this could be the first signs of a compromise which will give both sides of the BREXIT argument a way forward. Very early days, but a compromise is a sensible option.
In principle I certainly have nothing against such a compromise, but suggest that if that is agreed, what reason remains to leave the EU?If true, this could be the first signs of a compromise which will give both sides of the BREXIT argument a way forward. Very early days, but a compromise is a sensible option.
However, assuming there is leeway over immigration and the Agreement Cameron reached about no further integration into a Federal State, what else is left to cause us to want to leave?it's difficult to find a way forward without leaving.
We need to prove to ourselves that we don't do very well on our own outside the EU. Most of us suspect that we won't but we still need some sort of proof. The latter could well be membership of NAFTA. If we could somehow negotiate a transitional period up to 2025, we would then either see that NAFTA is a real goer or still a long way off. If NAFTA membership with Mr Trump as chairman is proven much worse than membership of the EU, then going back would have the support of a sufficient majority.
