Robert Mugabe has died, sending a timely warning.

Mugabe's obsession with achieving independence for Zimbabwe and his native citizens taking back control led to the the total destruction of that formerly rich country's economy.

And now we have our own Boris Mugabe Johnson, whose reckless obsession with achieving UK independence and it's native citizens taking back control threatens us with the same fate.
.
I am puzzled, why would sending timely warnings kill him..was it the exertion in someone who is 95?.

There's a comma between the words died and sending, so no causal connection other than the news of the death reminds us of his record.

what happens if Bojo resigns on the 31st October or a few days before?
He may lose his top job but win at the end.

Nothing really, the PM isn't the government. The governing tory party will just have to put in a caretaker PM pending the election of a replacement.

We've had PM changes mid term before, for example Tony Blair to Gordon Brown in 2007, with a GE still three years away. Also Thatcher to Major, Wilson to Callaghan, Macmillan to Douglas-Home and Churchill to Eden, all mid term.

I don't think that is correct. The Tory minority government will still be in place and a deputy PM can continue with it. A PM is not a government. In any event there will not be a GE before November 1st, so we won't crash out of the EU.

All academic really, Johnson won't let go the reins, knowing if he does he'll never be given a second go.

It's not academic Flecc.

You are incorrect.

If Johnson resigns Corbyn will have 14 days to form a government majority

Well I'm going to test it, I want to know who's right, you or fingers?
You can't, only Johnson can test it.

If he doesn't resign, I'm right, the question is proven to be academic.

If he resigns, Fingers is right, the question wasn't academic.

But even then it's all academic, since you'll have lost your No Deal Brexit if Corbyn is invited to form a government.

Flecc is wrong.

As usual , but of course he won't admit it and will make up hypothetical stories to cloud the fundamental issue uponce which he is incorrect

No drama though. We are used to his opinion of himself.
