There is a point to remember if you are a Remain supporter.
In the long run we simply can't lose
History inexorably leads to bigger and bigger political groupings, our own United Kingdom is the proof of that
In the interrim the throwbacks may win a short term delay in the process, but remember this

They were incompetent to run the country before entering the EEC
They were incompetent even when the EU gave them access to huge overseas markets
They are now incompetent to come up with a negotiation not based on threats.

Conclusion the Conservatives are terminally incompetent, and any nation that relies on them in serious trouble.

Patience....time is on our side

In the US there have been some serious talk of California leaving the union (and always Texas threatens the same).

This is a reflection of the societal breakdown of families - way more people living on their own - dwellings now catering far more for smaller family units.

That is the trend.

I think it’s inevitable.

It seems we will have to do more internal business anyway to make up for the lack of exports until we can do a deal.

There are some lovely caravan holidays to be had in this country as well. Cut down on the global warming thanks to less planes flying too.
