Are you joking... From the "Leaflet" that was sent to every household.

Remaining inside the EU guarantees our full access to its Single Market. By contrast, leaving creates uncertainty and risk.

The Single Market makes it easier and cheaper for UK companies to sell their products outside the UK, creating jobs as a result,

Being inside the EU also makes it more attractive for companies to invest in the UK,

Losing our full access to the EU’s Single Market would make exporting to Europe harder and increase costs.

A copy of the "leaflet" that you seem to have conveniently forgotten about.

That is the leaflet supporting remaining. This brings us back to the argument presented by the ocean going idiots on the leave side who claim that those who voted leave knew the risks because the Remain side warned them. Have you ever heard anything more stupid, ever, anywhere?

Just about every aspect of that leaflet was rubbished and dismissed as scare mongering by the leave side. For that reason, you can not now present it as evidence that people knew what they were voting for when voting leave.

Yes I can, I can do what I like, I just did. You were trying to make out leave voters didn't have the information available when every household got a remain leaflet and a biased media campaign, yet they chose to vote leave anyway.
A 'remain' leaflet that gave none of the possibly drawbacks of staying in the EU either I might add. And yet......

But the information provided for people to base their decision upon has turned out to be completely inaccurate. Fingers has confirmed this. For that single reason, there is no mandate for The Government to implement the decision.
What? You mean this information:

"Remaining inside the EU guarantees our full access to its Single Market. By contrast, leaving creates uncertainty and risk.

The Single Market makes it easier and cheaper for UK companies to sell their products outside the UK, creating jobs as a result,

It was clearly stated that leaving the EU would be beneficial,
Really? OK let's have a look at what was said (once more):

"Remaining inside the EU guarantees our full access to its Single Market. By contrast, leaving creates uncertainty and risk. 50Herz nobody had the full information. Like nobody. End of. We voted on a hunch. Like we pick our women. You can never tell exactly how they'll turn out can you - but you take a chance.

We're taking a chance.

I know that scares you.

Well cheer up - its nice and hot its a bank holiday and we won (again) at cricket.

And you have a UK passport.

A lucky life indeed.

Well I’m not too happy about that.

We are normally quite friendly with the Dutch.

Does this also mean we will lose burritos? Kebabs? Curries? Peking Duck?

How silly.

There is a lot of nonsense being spoken. We are not leaving Europe. Good job most of us in this country are not vindictive. A lot of hate is being spread about us.

We voted to leave a political union. Not people. The big threat is how other countries politicians will try and divide us now.

I do wonder is it worth it. But then I think why are they trying so hard to divide us? Surely if the Eu is so secure, one member leaving isn’t the end of their world?

I still maintain we won’t leave. We won’t be allowed to. But I would like the option.
I don't.
I don't doubt that it is worth it... I am convinced it is a silly idea,
I fully expect the UK to leave. It has run out of options.
Talk about vindictive?. Talk about hate?. ..Read your own papers.

It seems pretty obvious to me that as a general rule one can say that Leavers are far far less risk-averse than Remainers. You can see it in many of the posts here.

We knew this was going to be a risk. Anytime you vote against the status-quo that's what you're doing. We voted against the status quo. Why? Because of the perceived benefits. Actual benefits who knows. That's the point. We took a gamble.

I bet if you surveyed everybody who voted you'd find Leavers are the bigger gamblers. We spend more time doing risky things. More time in betting shops. We probably set up more businesses - we probably speed more - have more affairs - make fools of ourselves more - tell illegal jokes - you get the idea?

Which is not to say you don't need a balance of very 'rational' 'play-safers'. But we had a fight (the vote) - and we won. And finally we have a government who appears serious about implementing what we voted for.

Life is good.

Notting Hill carnival of violence and disorder. Score so far: 97 arrests and 11 Police Officers injured. Why can’t these people behave themselves.
Keep a sense of proportion. That's out of over a million people attending and 12,000 police officers present.

The police having been having a very quiet time there with many enjoying themselves. I know that from my police officer neighbour and pal.

that message still rings true today.
polls suggest more and more voters believe that brexit is a mistake.

These people?

You mean black people?

You are quite the racist aren't you. That's why you voted out. Then when economically you thought it might affect you adversely you flip flopped.

Tough call. Lett foreigners or less money.

You chose money.

You could always emigrate to NZ.

Because it's all negative coverage. Which is fair. This is the darkest time. The most uncertainty. The EU was never going to roll over. Well not till the last minute as always.

We will be fine. Nothing much will change.
