In the Daily Mail

"Boris Johnson plans to give the EU the cold shoulder by refusing to visit Brussels or any European leaders as Michael Gove plots daily 'emergency' meetings over No Deal Brexit "

A new negotiating tactic, is it a case of trying "Dumb insolence"? or more likely he wants to avoid embarassing himself among the grown up EU politicians?

Brexit Party bus found abandoned in hedge after breaking down
The Brexit party seems to be down on its luck at the moment

Although Brexit Party candidate Des Parkinson said the bus broke down last night, Derek Jeffs, a local removal company boss, told Wales Online that he saw the bus stranded on Saturday afternoon.
“It looked as if the bus had turned into the layby but there wasn’t enough room to turn it around. However, the driver couldn’t reverse because the road dipped down,” he said.
“The driver was still in the cab and he didn’t look best pleased.”

Leave means : Leave the bus ?
Blocking a layby too, something sort of symbolic about that!

So, a bus has broken down.

In other hot news, a seagull has turned off the TV set of an Exeter resident. Would you like me to furnish you with more detail so that you can report that on here as well?

We have been led to believe many things about Brexit being easy to achieve, "We hold all the cards" so why this and how much is this so obvious bluff going to cost us?
In the Telegraph
"Boris Johnson to unveil biggest ad campaign since Second World War to prepare for 'no deal'

Why an "ad" campaign? and right next to it on the front page is this
AnalysisNo-deal Brexit 'would leave British farmers defenceless' against cheap imports

Madness!
Perhaps he has been reading
The Goebbels Diaries 1939-1941
(and the other volumes)?

Or owes many favours to the advertising "industry"?

If only we could have a campaign to not buy papers, watch television, etc., which accepts that advertising. I'd happily not watch Coronation Street, Love Island, etc., with BJ's propaganda before, during and after.

(Never watch them anyway, so not a difficult thing to say and not do.)

Dominic Raab was on BBC1 this morning. He didn't sound convincing.
I reckon that the £100 millions that BJ/Cummings want to spend on no deal brexit ads is going to turn more people against brexit. Nobody likes government wasting tax money.

Well in some ways over the 3 years they have fullfilled your wildest leave desires and delivered above & beyond " ...the uncertainty of leaving" ;-) Don't say you weren't warned!!

And at the end 'If you would like to know more about any of the info in this leaflet go to: EUreferendum.gov.uk" > you find the final words from the govt at the time led by Cameron, now where did he go...

"...it is the Government’s view that the UK’s national interest – the interests of every family, household, business, community, region and nation within our United Kingdom – is best served by our country remaining in a reformed EU."

Daveboy.. the flyer by the Government prior to the referendum was a mixture of fact...the process of registering, and fake news.. The Government were not empowered to state they would implement your decision. The best they could do ,which in the case of Mr Cameron, was an aspiration , would have been to Propose a course of action to Parliament .
Now it should not be necessary for an non British National to have to explain these distinctions to you.

Did you not read the bit where I said "It may have been advisory but"
I hope I don't have to explain this to you.

Too complicated.

The government promised a referendum and promised to implement what people voted for.

People voted to leave the EU. The government haven’t followed through on their promises. People feel betrayed and let down.

No I don't....I am probably the only person on here that wants Brexit and a Labour Government ...it's just me and Jeremy Corbyn (i'm hoping he gets an e-bike and joins the forum )
But what kind of brexit would that be? in a customs union with additional employee, consumer rights rather than the opposite (nationalisation)? present migration arrangements with the eu remain? I agree completely with all of that, but it doesnt present brexit in the way a self obsessed xenophobic tory nut job would see it.
