The Labour party and Conservatives ask potential MPs to cough up sums of £40 and £400 respectively. But, none of them does so on the back of unsystematic online applications from random people. If you want to be a PPC for any of the big three, there is a rigorous selection process to go through before any money changes hands.
And about the £25, why is that anything other than a scam , when the supporter could well find their money is being used for any purpose whatsoever over which they have no say?
Already we have the spectacle of them blaming a scapegoat for the deliberate leak of the Ambassador's communications. Because they fear the law will catch up with them and want to cover their backsides

A member of Farage's group leaks confidential communications pretending to be a journalist, "accidentally" achieving the removal of our ambassador to the USA, a man his boss wants out of the way for a more compliant stooge to replace him.

I do it as a public service to expose the hypocrisy that powers this Brexit religion
Anyone supporting Brexit is considered holy, above criticism and they will about hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil about them, no matter what they do.
