Iran have played it very well atm.

The one thing they haven’t factored in though is Bolton’s crazy.

And I’m not referring to our friends in the north.
Not really. Unifying the eu/uk and us against one by behaving like an idiot in the strait of hormuz is not likely to reduce the risk of further sanctions. Previously they had a divided enemy. But you voted for brexit. I dont expect you to understand that.

Completely unimportant observation - which just shows how unobservant I can be - Essex, seeming home of brexit, has EU number plates. :)

Is that the US which seems to have said "get on with protecting your own shipping, we don't care"?

Day one of the Boris Brexit Show?
In the Telegraph
'Enough of Fiscal Phil' Boris Johnson to borrow cash to fund tax breaks and pledges worth £26bn
And the Express have managed to inflate his "victory"
PM Boris Johnson set to be confirmed TODAY with landslide mandate for Brexit masterplan
BORIS JOHNSON is set to be crowned the new leader of the Conservative Party today in a landslide victory that will give him a mandate to strike a new Brexit deal with the EU.

Mandate? meaning the approval of Tory party members
Also in the Express

Brexit: European leaders queue up to give Boris a new deal
PANICKING EU countries have been secretly trying to woo Boris Johnson in a bid to thrash out a new Brexit plan that would avoid a no-deal outcome, it emerged yesterday.

It doesn't work like that, does it? they have a single negotiator who speaks for all

if ever anyone needs to explain what fake news is, just point to the headlines of the Express.
The articles themselves are generally not fake, just the headlines.
Why do they want to do that I wonder.

It has to be said that if anyone can get May's deal (suitably wrapped in Stealth mode) through Parliament with a majority of , what was is (counts on Fingers and gives up)
Bojo is the one, and if anyone can assure Brexit sinks with all hands.
He is definitely the remainer's choice of unguided weapon

Imagine how it must feel to have voted for Brexit, nearly had to suffer Bojo once as PM, and damn it all, find yourself faced with that calamity AGAIN?
There should be a scheme where you can claim to get your Referendum voting form back and have another go..
Oh! what's this about having another referendum?

No, let's not bother.
Time for the Brexiteers to "put their money where their mouth is!"

What you have to understand on this game is the Iranian republican guard is different to Iran.

That ship we took is their monthly pay. To take that is to take away their source of income. Normal Iranians get by on very little.

I could go into more detail but I’m off swimming.

the Pound is dangerously low this morning, waiting for the result.
If BJ wins by a low margin, would it rebound?
I have a large bill to pay this week, should I wait or pay it before the rate gets even worse?

Has JH decided to leave the cabinet?
How would BJ convince eurosceptics that our Navy should join force with the French Navy?

"France has agreed to the UK proposal of the creation of an European naval force in the Gulf and will assign military means to it. "

didn't you know?
Boris has said from now on we don't have to pay foreigners anything.
Tell them to "Go whistle" or something, or ask them if they will take
"Brexit Bonds"
(I just invented that name, after all if you can get the punters to put money into Farage's piggy bank they must be keen to part with it.)
Come to think of it we could launch a company on the internet to accept the money,
And print out the bonds with your villain of choice as a watermark.

Because the headlines also get to all those who won't pay for newspapers, or even bother to read them. That's the majority.

The figures are compared to March last year
Interesting that the least worst performers in terms of loss of circulation are the Times and FT
Perhaps they have cornered the market of people who can actually read?;)

They just need a few Boobs and bums and they will crack the Market!
