I distinctly remember you changing sides at one point and even earlier claiming you hadn't voted too, do I have to dig out the relative posts? and there's more where that came from.
I do have a very reliable memory and I can always prove my assertions , or I don't make them.
Shall I indulge myself and go and look? or spare your blushes?

You might as well.

You’ve got bugger all else to do.

As fingers might say a view from the swamp.... The EU had their summit today, I believe it would have been Mrs Mays Swan Song...

Taoiseach Leo Varadkar has warned that the EU has run out of patience with the UK and that there is “enormous hostility” among European leaders to any further Brexitextension beyond October.
“There is very much a strong view across the European Union that there shouldn’t be any more extensions,” Mr Varadkar said in Brussels on Thursday.
“While I have endless patience, some of my colleagues have lost patience quite frankly with the UK and there is enormous hostility to any further extension.
“So I think an extension could really only happen to facilitate something like a General Election in the UK or perhaps something like a second referendum if they decided to have one,” Mr Varadkar said.
“What won’t be entertained is an extension for further negotiations or further indicative votes – the time for that is long since past.”
Mr Varadkar was speaking before entering the two-day summit of EU leaders in Brussels, where the main business will be the allocation of top EU jobs for the next five years.
He played down the chances of a breakthrough on an agreement over who should lead the European Commission, the European Council, the European Parliament and the European Central Bank, indicating that a further summit may be required in the coming weeks to strike a deal.

“It’s quicker to elect a Pope very often,” Mr Varadkar said.
Differences among EU leaders on who should get the jobs, including between France and Germany, as well as between the party groups in the new European Parliament continue despite a frantic last minute round of diplomacy and politicking on Thursday morning.
Irish commissioner
Mr Varadkar reiterated his Government’s backing for the EPP choice to head the European Commission, the German MEP Manfred Weber, but few in Brussels expect Mr Weber to overcome French opposition.

He declined to say whether the Government would nominate Irish Commissioner Phil Hogan for another term, though the move is widely expected in political circles.
“I’m not going to make that decision until we see who the President of the Commission and the President of the Council is, because, you know, there’s a certain balance to be had,” he said.
“Also, a crucial thing aside from the person who will be the next Commissioner for Ireland, is what portfolio we hold.
“Needless to say, we are going to want to have one that is influential,” Mr Varadkar said.
In a statement earlier in the day, after a meeting with the EU’s chief Brexit negotiator Michel Barnier in advance of Thursday’s summit, Mr Varadkar said “Brexit negotiations can only happen with the EU and not with individual governments, and . . . the Withdrawal Agreement won’t be reopened.”
However, he indicated that the EU was willing to rewrite the political declaration which accompanies the withdrawal treaty, and which paves the way for the future trading relationship between the bloc and the UK once it leaves.
The statement said Mr Varadkar had a “very good meeting to review the current situation with Brexit”.
“Michael Barnier stressed the unity of the 27 members with Ireland and its commitment to the Withdrawal Agreement,”it said.
“The Taoiseach and Mr Barnier acknowledged that we now await the election of a new UK Prime Minister and hearing about their proposed ...

Whilst you are searching find the one about "neat deals". Thats another one you are prone to lying about.
Trouble is a poster writes one thing but that shows luttle resemblance to what you read and interpret .
I write "last week I was in India making preliminary investigations into feasability of a charter business ". And you read "Ah yes, he, s looking for neat deals courstesy of Brexit". Its all in your head OG. So, I suppose its not really lying. You believe your own propoganda.
Just try and be civil for once.

My goodness in one breath you managed to remember one of your remarks then deny it?
That wasn't actually one I was intending to drag up from the past but it will do for a start.
Even now it seems to fail to understand you made it plain that Brexit was a gamble on your part for strictly person gain and you actually used the words "Neat deals" in that post.
However, I was thinking more along the lines of the one where you originally denied you had voted in the referendum, before subsequently confiming you had, remember?
And my replies are civil, and contain simple truth without fabrication.

In terms of a PM, Theresa May is the worst thing that could ever have happened to the U.K. I can think of nothing that has not been damaged or destroyed as a result of her involvement. I can think of nothing significant that she has actually pledged to do and then gone on to deliver.

Her time at the Home Office was one of missed targets, alienation of her staff, the Police Service, Prison Officers, Border Agency, in fact every area that she touched resulted in damage and the people involved despising her. Generally, people are reluctant and sceptical regarding change, but they come to accept it in the end. However, on these occasions May was warned repeatedly from a wide variety of sources that she was wrong, but didn’t listen. Nearly all of the warnings have now materialised and this is why the resentment and loathing hasn’t gone away. It’s even evident in the Daily Fail reader’s comments section.

I think it’s time to accept that May isn’t sufficiently capable or talented to deliver Brexit. Her track record and performance todate indicates that she will fail, do lasting damage and alienate people. We don’t need to look far in order to see this happening right now. This makes her highly dangerous because I believe that she will stop at nothing in order to hide or distract attention from her inadequate ability to do her job. Nerve gas, bombing, plastic, knife crime, internet giants or the meaningless gender pay gap, it’s all chaff to throw us off the scent of the wounded and lame animal inside Number 10.

I still think Brexit could work out over the longer term, but I don’t think May is capable of overseeing and negotiating the process. Most of the people around her seem to be either lazy, blasé or worryingly jocular about the whole situation, so I can’t see a likely alternative. For these reasons, I believe it’s time to stop, remain in the EU, reset as much as we can and to have a long hard think. If nothing else, the last two years has reinforced the notion that what theses clowns state they can do, and reality, is not even in the same universe.

I more or less thought exactly same a while ago Tillson. I did vote to leave and like you still believe if handled properly could lead to more opportunities...but its become such a fiasco that if we had ref2 I,d now vote remain.
My only reservation about May, at least she tried and stepped into breach. The grovelling excuse for a pm before here ran away...
I blame Cameron and Osborn more than May. They offered country two options and only had planning for one.
Can you imagine what folk on a boat would think if I offered 2 destinations for them but jumped overboard when they chose one of them. Madness.
Sort of.." Well you,ve chosen , now you lot can get us there, but by the way I,m jumping ship"...Was doomed from that very announcement of Cameron's resignation.

And on the subject of polite responses, here is a shining example

You know what is really funny?

50Hertz voted to Leave the EU in the referendum.

Now what do you think of that?
What becomes of

"Note - boys and girls - this is the attitude that had 'Remain' lose. That condescending 'we're better than you' attitude. Easy to spot in this guy because he reveals it in almost every post.

Sorry OJ you are attacking someone who was once on your side when it mattered.
He reconsidered after events proved it had been a mistake

That takes guts and good judgement, what is your excuse for not doing so?
Let me see what was it, you wanted local politicians to make decisions for local people?

I have news for you, I am a local European, and I want local politicians in the EU to make decisions for me, not Russians or Americans thousands of miles away
You are a 'European'. Sure. OK. If you say so. I think the polling shows that around 7% of the UK population identify as that. The lowest of any EU member.

If Field were so totally innocent, he would not have apologised.

In a statement, he apologised to the woman and said he would refer himself to the Cabinet Office over the incident.

Two wrongs do not make a right?

Do you want someone without sufficient self-control to be a minister?

You really are on drugs. They were all exactly as I described .. I have believed in Brexit throughout and still do but for a few reasons, already explained, would vote (probably) to remain.

Sorry, OG, I havent the time or inclination to waste more time with you. This is definitely my last response to you. I dont know how you pass your time but you must have hours and hours every day to throw away to spend so much of your life on this thread. Its such a shame.
