To pick up on anti-immigration sentiments, remember, Boris Johnson wasn't even born in the country. (Which would disqualify him if we applied USA constitutional rules regarding presidency to PM-hood.) :)

Meaning the Adam Smith institute on behalf of Trump
You may as well sell your grandmother too, and make a job of it
Because people voted for brexit doesn't mean they want conservative rule, far from it!
They will vote for whoever is willing to honour the promise made to us.

Yes a clean break, perhaps what YOU voted for,but don't speak for the 17million others who had a spectrum of views. Unless the Brexit Party achieves 50.1% of ALL votes cast in the in the UK European Parliament elections, you are manifestly WRONG.
We had a vote. End of.

I cannot speak for the populations of most other countries, but in Ireland he would be seen as a buffoon. An opinion I believe is reflected by a number of other EU countries, and their "Elites".
What is important is not how he is perceived in Mongolia, but in Brussels ,Berlin,Dublin,Paris,Madrid, etc...
Not really. What is important - is how the 17.4m have been treated thus far after winning a vote to leave the EU. You keep getting pulled away from this basic point. This is why Farage is back. This is why the Tory party and Labour are both in such a mess. They are trying to duck out of the promise they made.

When you try to duck out of promises you made your life turns to shi t.

Once a Labour Government gets in and tells the utility companies there is going to be a "windfall tax" on profits the shares will drop to the floor.
More money for the NHS won't solve all the problems but it won't make it worse.
When Mrs May said on TV that Cutting the Police force by 20,000 didn't have an effect on crime she must have been the only person in the country to think this.
Companies such as Amazon have been getting away with paying too little tax for too long, Any company operating in this country should pay tax on a percentage of turnover if they try to avoid paying what they owe by using dubious methods.
Starbucks Don't make a profit here because they pay too much for their coffee beans...….But they buy their coffee beans from a company abroad that they own. A ten percent tax on turnover would soon sort that scam out.
Read this about Starbucks, It stinks.

Dave - if you tax too much companies will set up their base somewhere else. We are in competition with other countries. So go ahead and force these companies pay massive amounts of tax - or do the same with wealthy individuals - and watch them literally walk out the door.

It's all a compromise. There is an ideal level of taxation and if you go above it you actually bring in less tax than if you had lower tax rates. We discovered this in the 1970s will Labour party's 90%+ tax rates. I think the actual ideal top rate is around 54%.

I agree but the likes of Amazon and Starbucks won't set up somewhere else...I don't want them to pay extra tax, Just to pay what they owe and if they can't be trusted to pay tax on profits, tax them on turnover. If you or I did what the big companies are doing, we would end up in jail for tax evasion.

they won't be able to do that.
Parliament will force a vote of no confidence and vote to revoke A50 if that were to happen.
The only likely outcome is a fresh GE. The new PM will say that he/she needs a fresh mandate for WTO brexit. That's why all candidates claim they can beat JC.
We'll see. Go Boris!

Anyway I don't know why you worry about the likes of water and rail, those companies are almost all foreign company owned, Thames Water for example being Australian owned.
So you don't give a damm about keeping contract law intact if the company concerned is 'Australian'. Have you no idea how important it is to have integrity at an International level on stuff like this?

Do you want to turn us into the Russians where they tear up legal contracts whenever the Mafia boss of that area insists? Which is how come almost nobody will do business with Russia anymore.

You want that to happen here?

Because that is what WILL HAPPEN if Labour fail to honour the most basic of contract laws we have. London is known for being trustworthy around this stuff - has been for centuries. You want to tear centuries of trust up like that?

Without honouring our agreements we are LITERALLY NOTHING - not worthy of any consideration AT ALL.

On the voting paper it didn't say 'leave with a deal' or anything like that - it just said: Leave or Stay.

We voted to leave. So get on with it and honour your promise.

This is not rocket science.
You are correct. Rocket Science is logical. I will further agree with yiu that when these politicians realised that Brexit was a Crock of..... ,they should have come clean with the Public. The British are not fools, they would probably have forgiven anyone honest enough to have leveled with them.

Huh? How many other countries can we buy steel from huh? Fu cking hundreds. You're such a fool sometimes. Do you not realise this is where markets come into play - Sheesh. Whatever.
Lovely answer. Tell that to the Fiat family in Italy, who bartered their engineering expertise for Russian Steel ,giving them what was the Lada, based on a very good Fiat 131 , and getting a steel which rusted a generation of Alfas and Fiats in return. Without control of your raw materials ,you are subjected to others market forces...

How very condescending you are, we know all about wealth creation, and how much of that wealth sticks in the wallets of the villains who swindle the public, amazing the airs and graces the parasitic wealthy class award themselves.
But then they have always felt they had a god given right to rule, and found ways of conning the proles using smooth salesmanship and lies.
The Public are the wealth providing side of the equation, the Conservatives cream off the proceeds and are a net loss.
And like rats have fallen out among themselves to get us in the mess we are now.
You simply "don't get" that the trouble you will cause yourselves with your latest confidence trick of selling out to Foreign Corporate interests is that you , here, will be taken for a ride as well as the public.
Small fry to be snapped up, that's all the Brexit bandits like the Adam Smith Institute, ERG and Farage faction are.
Turkeys voting for Christmas
Sheesh. The chip on your shoulder is the size of that black hole they say is out there a trillion miles away. What is your problem? Why so negative? There are always people swindling others. You always take the negative view. I am talking about genuine wealth creators - Apple, Google, Facebook - and the small guys too who set up a small business and through finding a gap in the market bring something new and useful to everybody. But to you its always about the dark negative aspects - how anybody who's got some money must have got it by some terrible means. You're damaged. Really. Always so negative. On and on and on you go. Never seeing anything other than people swindling other people. What a horrible experience to have all the time.
