Your link answers your questions.

He's been voted Sports Personality of the Year because he is very popular with the public. And the public switch to programs with people they like in them.

To get him they have to pay enough, he's in demand with advertisers; Walkers alone must pay him a small fortune.
.
There's not supposed to be any advertising on the BBC. Surely, the 2 million quid could be spent on content rather than personalities, or it could go to setting up a team to investigate and expose the Panadroma scandal.

The government made a massive campaign to discourage everybody from buying diesels. Maybe they're all buying hybrids or petrol cars now. You tell me!
The Company in question makes Air conditioning components and cooling systems that go into all types of cars, so where does that leave your argument?
Sales should have remained fairly steady, as people moved to other vehicle types, but obviously sales levels are low.
Ask yourself what affected the sales?

That's easy. they're still making them for the smaller cars that are still selling well.

Here's what was written in that article:
"European car manufacturers' biggest problem is the EU, UK and Welsh Governments' manic policy to ban diesel and petrol engines within 20 years," he said.

The automotive industry is facing turbulent times - pressures include the drive for electric vehicles and a drop in car sales in the UK."

It's the same with Nissan. The press tried to spin a story that they wouldn't built the new model in Sunderland because of Brexit uncertainty, but it was simply that they couldn't sell that model in Europe anymore because nobody wanted it.

So you are saying they are closing despite sales not falling?
Then this is untrue
"The automotive industry is facing turbulent times - pressures include the drive for electric vehicles and a drop in car sales in the UK.""
And why are sales low, I ask again? why aren't they providing components for electric cars and hybrids?
The answer is Brexit uncertainty is damaging car sales volumes isn't it?
After all if you want a new car you'll buy one, just not a diesel, there are plenty of other types to choose from.

And the truth is that this is generally true!
Name one thing that has improved because of Brexit....
No, allow me to.
Lord Nigel made millions by conceding defeat on referendum night and causing a currency fluctuation he had bet on, and he wasn't the only one was he?
And of course when Brexit happens it will keep the EU from getting it's hands on Tax from those offshore accounts.
And there will be plenty of backhanders when the NHS is sold off.

The list is endless if you are in on the racket.
Shame about the rest of us.
vf400... see how it works?

they wern't long threatening the lorry drivers slowing traffic down in a protest at brexit being delayed, with prosecution. But it seems you can stop people going about their legal business in London, and the left wing clowns are able to do so with impunity. Talk about double standards
The Clown Prince of London’s absence is notable.

So why didn't they put a different power plant into it? and how did they know the EU didn't want a model they hadn't even built yet?
So Nissan designed a new model they knew they couldn't sell with a Diesel engine but just gave up ?
What kind of company designs a new model without Market Research?
This is nonsense!

The only thing I can see is how much bullshit you spout. it's great fun winding you up to see how much will come out in one go.

BTW, you will shortly see that I was right about something. The cat is about to jump out of the bag!
Not another would be smart Alec leaver, the reason we are in this mess is you fell for Bull in the first place.
Surely you aren't happy with the way Brexit is going? it's clearly on the rocks.
And what cat out of what bag are you referring to?

In the Telegraph this morning
"
Britain is in the grips of a knife crime crisis. So why are our police boogying on the streets with eco-anarchists?

Ross Clark
Good Question,is it because the Police are "left wing eco-anarchists" or has someone ordered them to tread lightly, and if so who?

The Guardian has this
https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2019/apr/18/scotland-yard-defends-response-to-climate-change-protests

So the choices are either we pay for more police on the streets.
Sort out the cause behind these protest,
Or Become a Police state and brutalise the public.
