So you don't understand QEQM?
It wasnt QEQM then tho was it.
Being a tad pedantic Oyster arent we.
Our Queenie of the day (Liz 2nd's mum, think she was called Elizabeth Angella Margarite, wife of King George VI, Queen at time, would have been serving fried Corgi to Hitler in Buckingham Palace had government of day performed like ours. I, m sure there is some hole you can pick in assumption somewhere. Dont think they actually had Corgies in BP those days and dont think even Hitler would have had one fried but you never know..

Our stupid MPs wonder why we get nowhere. Geoffrey Cox announces a soft Brexit would be no problem, because it can be hardened up later. That really will give EU negotiators loads of faith...

Flecc
Its countdown... what do you see our clowns being able to organise in time we have. A few meetings, a resignation or 2 and probably a picnic... but doubtful a deal...

Watching the Mp's in the live broadcast from the HOC it suddenly occured to me that the expressions on most faces was that of a person suffering constipation.
Perhaps we could could all club together and send them the appropriate
medicinal compounds?
That should get motions passed toot sweet!o_O
So order some lact-u-lose to go with the vote-u-lose?

Yvette Cooper's bill squeaked through by 313/312 - incredibly well fought.
I watched her perform in the HoC a few times. A real talent.
She should have been Leader of the Opposition.

Junkers sent a reminder today ,that time is running out.
TM and JC are united against the confirmatory vote (aka remain), they may want to force a vote between TM's deal and cancel A50 next week.

That would have been sensible 6 months ago, now its just common sense but late and probably too late at that.
Putting a deal EU sanctioned months ago, after dead line day, to public could only be seen as progress by our morons leading country.

Or is closer to no deal.

The House of Lords needs to ratify the vote from hoc tonight.

I can see them stalling it. The main thing Juncker wanted was money. He seemed rattled. I notice Leo has been told to be quiet. The last thing they want is a crew of leavers from the UK joining the MEPs with the rest of Europes far right and woke folk anti to their ‘project’.

Their plan of making Euro countries budgets decided by them is based on it being voted for after the next election.

If they don’t have a majority...and I’m thinking they are doing the numbers then it sets their ‘project’ of Brussels deciding independent countries budgets an election at least.

Interesting. Just as the hoc are on their side they are blinking.

I think you misunderstood. Junkers was saying that the extension beyond April 12 was contingent on passing the WA. So basically that offer has expired. We are now another week on,out of the two weeks available, and no progress. You might see this waltzing around in the HoC as progress, but it is not seen as that elsewhere . The suggestions being floated around Westminster of getting extensions beyond that, without going as far as End of June, were being dismissed.
Unless today Thursday a credible plan is produced in Westminster, the EC under Trusk next week will have no option but to pull the plug.
Barnier was also clear that even if the UK chooses to leave without a deal, the substantial parts of the Withdrawal Agreement need to be clarified BEFORE moving on to any form of trade deals. Just because the HoC decides not to implement what the EU sees as important , does not mean that the EU abandons them.
That leaves Trusk as the only support for an extension.
I think that No Deal Crashout is very real, and there will be a lot of red faces in Westminster afterwards.
Both Leo and Simon Covneany..our Deputy Prime Minister are saying very little deliberately, because while they want the UK to have the extension, they don't want to say anything which will be deliberately misquoted.

TM will have another go next week with MV4, with or without JC's support.

I already posted about preparations for brexit in Pembrokeshire some time ago. Now it would appear to be taking towards 10% of the police officers... And so very interesting that it does not mention Scotland. Is this because of how they have collected and presented statistics? Or that they are not preparing in the same way in Scotland?

The NPCC lead for Brexit planning, chief constable Charlie Hall, said at least 10,000 officers trained in quelling disorder were ready for deployment across England, Wales and Northern Ireland, and trained in tactics to tackle looting in the event of shortages and violence if tensions spill over.
