Who did they win medals for?

Maybe you should have a look at the '98 French World Cup winning team and where their parents were from?

Is that how you do it? Or is that rule only for participants from the UK?

Thought so.

Oooo don't get your knockers in a knot! I found the born in the EU bit a bit of a lark nothing more.

How many of those players play in the UK?

And stop thinking, you'll end up hurting yourself.

Still not true, even leaving off 1972 it's 456 in 1973 to 2018, not 371. Count up the totals of the 23 games in the list I posted for you.

Against that 456 in 23 games, in the 23 games before 1973 there were 266 medals won, that's over 42% less.

No matter how many ways you try to distort this, you are still wrong as the list clearly shows. We've done much better since being in the EU.
.

Hmmmm

I think you are including the youth games as well.

Its an easy mistake to make. Try this list. Its a bit clearer and only includes the senior games.

You did say Olympic games so I included them all. Still makes no difference, in the senior games we've done much better in the latter 23 years of the EU than in the 23 years before.
.

PMSL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you changing the rules now? LOL!!!! Bless.

You said we had done better since joining the EU. Is said we haven't. I was right. And as were leaving in a couple of months that will be the fact forever.

Too funny.

Just looking at the House of commons on TV, what a shambles!
The notion that you can have an electronic answer to border controls will make smuggling the career opportunity of choice for anyone keen on "Private Enterprise"

Don't forget that while you may think you are gaining brownie points by derailing the thread, "Brexit for once some facts" you are still at the same time contributing to the number of hits it gets, thus undermining the only reason you have for making a disruptive nuisance of yourself
on here, and wasn't it you trying to get people to vote on topic?

You are sounding pretty desperate for bad news now.
Does that mean you actually approve of this liar? and where does the desperation for bad news come in?
Another leap of your imagination? look around you, are things going well?
Your vote and all the others who voted for Brexit caused this mess, are you proud of it?
Do you want a round of applause?

You were and are wrong. Like has to be compared with like. No matter how presented, as totals for the before EU 23 years and after EU 23 years, or as average per each of all senior games, we have done much better since joining the EU.

That's fact and your obfuscation won't fool members.

However, even if I do take your line with all medals games and even the 1908 146 distortion included, before 1973 the average score for medals was 31.5 for each senior games, from 1973 the average score was 33.7 for each senior games, so better during EU membership.

Take out the 146 distortion when so many countries didn't take part in 1908 and the pre EU average was only 22.7 medals per senior games, against 33.7 after joining the EU.

So by your calculations we've only been in the EU for 23 years?

Now I'm not an accountant but it seems to me that 1973 to 2016 is greater than that number. I could be wrong. But I'm not.

Just like I'm right about the success we had in the Olympics pre EU than after.

Let it go Flecc. I admit it when I get it wrong. You should try it.

It's quite liberating.

I’m really sorry to hear that, it must be a great source of disappointment for you. :)
Explain yourself.
Why have you made a racist remark?
Why should anyone be disappointed that their children are French?
Apologise for that remark.

Do I have to spell it out, 23 OLYMPIC years ffs!!!!!!

That's the subject and they are only held every four years for each games, Summer or Winter.

As conclusively proven on this link, you were wrong on any method of comparison, so now please either admit it as you've just said you would, or just stop struggling and give up.

So there will not be a delay to Brexit, no deal is on the table and TM is going back to Brussels to try and come up with a fudge.
Another wasted day.
My prediction that she would get her deal accepted (with a fudge or two) is coming true.
Let's see where this will go shall we?
Almost certainly the EU will agree to putting an end date on the backstop on condition that there is some sort of electronic system handling movement of goods over the Irish Border.
This could no doubt be made to work, but the notion that this Government could handle the problem on it's own is likely to mean that the EU have to take responsibility for it.

The Elephant in the room is of course that apart from being a Goods Smuggling charter, this will be a people smuggling charter as well.
Nevertheless blissfully unaware of the mess they are heading into the good news is that the Brexit Street parties will still occur on the appropriate day with the expected plaudits for plucky little England beating the Continental malignant EUSSR

The fact that we are now rule takers rather than rule makers, and still subject to EU rules and regulations will be something that is no longer a problem
it's Brino really, (but for goodness sake don't tell anybody!)
