Oh don't take things too much to heart Fingers. I'm sure on some visceral level you contribute by giving us a sense of what leave voters experience. And by now everyone knows there wasn't much more than that to brexit.
Brexit is pretty much as good an idea as Lincoln's to go to the Opera, you can sum it up with
"Never have so Few conned so many by exaggerating so little into so much"

you do make me realise how much Brexit and trolling have in common, both about passive aggression and rejection of others. have a good weekend regardless!

I don’t know, but I guess building an aircraft wing can be broken down into a multitude of smaller, but skilled, tasks.
A number of countries build good large airliner wings, it's not a dark art. We are just one who are good at it, others include the USA, Canada, China, Brazil, Russia and France. I understand Northern Ireland is about to join them.

Nice piece of Journalism designed to bring peace to the Brexit situation in the Daily Mail

This Fascist rag is surely in breach of some law or other, insulting parliament and trying to inflame the public is such a manner'
It should lose it's licence to publish for that sort of content, starting with a couple of months ban for the first offence, and this page should be that first offence.
Inflame? Reflect more like.

While that is the case then, workers in that particular industry are exposed to the possibility of seeing their jobs disappear overseas. I really wish we could get a clear unbiased opinion of how Brexit will affect U.K. Airbus employees.

Anyone see a guy named James Delingpole on this week?
What an idiot....
He was trying to suggest that Theresa May should crash out without a deal because she was a zombie government.
Andrew Niel was asking him about the bad effects of No Deal Brexit....
He asked him what about the hill farmers who would immediately be hit with a 40% tariff on all EU sales, which represents 50% of their revenue...JD said he didnt know about that. I am amazed that any sheep farmers voted leave, but many did.
He asked him about the cheese producers (Castle Combe International) who would be hit by 37%-235% (Canada),JD said he didnt know about that.
He asked him about the problems at JLR,he clearly didnt understand that,I cannot understand why any UK car workers voted Leave, they are voting themselves out of jobs and China will not save us,they are not buying Range Rovers anymore.
Rees-Mogg recently said that if Dover-Calais ferries were disrupted then we can always use Dover-Rotterdam,the idiot ,that would need 10 times as many ferries and burn 10 times the fuel.
Liam Fox is considered by most top business guys as lightweight,I agree...would you want him replacing the EU as a trade negotiator?
God help us if the Brexiteers get in charge of Brexit, they have no idea what hard Brexit actually means. I suppose they dont really care as long as the price of pheasant and foie gras is not affected !!!!

This sort of specialised manufacturing can't disappear very quickly. The threat comes from new designs as they arrive, with investment and tooling to consider. That's when the switch to the most convenient location takes place.

If we make manufacturing awkward here through tariffs and/or customs barrier delays or other higher costs, we'll see manufacturing departures over time, not immediately.

I suspect it's a group/identity thing.
As soon as one side (Leave) seizes any word containing 'national' in it, if you are part of a group, you'd fall for it.

If you simplify a solution, more people can understand it (or they think they do).
Remainers complicate things, that's why they've lost.

Take the £39 billion bill.
Remain should have won that argument by pinning it on Leave's slate. 'You ordered the beer, now pay the bill'.
Somehow, Leave managed to use it against remain.

did you watch BBCQT last night? John Healey for Labour had a bit of difficulty explaining Labour's position on brexit.

That makes sense. I suppose in or out, nothing is guaranteed. But I can see that IF logistics within the U.K. become unnecessarily difficult, that could tip the balance towards a gradual shifting of the production facilities elsewhere.

I wouldn’t want to take that gamble. I can’t see what the return is for such a high stake.

Im going to watch it on catchup. Too busy last night. I saw QT last week and thought new host Fiona Bruce did a good job and shows some promise.

Moggs logic is that when it rains you can shelter under a tree and move on the the next tree when you start getting wet.
What could possibles go wrong?
