Dont Panic! we have a genius looking after our interests
@LiamFox

Enjoyed discussing Global Britain today with @jrestrp, Colombia’s minister for Trade, Industry and Tourism @Davos #WEF2019 #wef #wef19
In 2018
exports to
amounted to £872m in the year to end of June #ExportingisGREAT @PeterTibber

Unfotunately the truth is a wee bit different
(IMF DOTS) data shows UK exports to Colombia to end June 2018=USD 282m. That’s 282m Dollars, not 872m pounds.

Near as dammit one might say? or was he right and someone "lost" the balance somewhere?

Another tiny snag has emerged

Come to think of it neither does any other port of entry, lord help anyone who happens to live in the vicinity if they are a light sleeper or suffer from Breathing difficulties.

Moggy and co will hold their noses and vote for May's deal rather than see that happen.
that's what they'll do - and so will the DUP after a little prevarication.
Between JC's rock and the backstop, it's the obvious choice.
I've always suspected that JC is going to save brexit one way or another if it does not cost him votes.
The next step for remainers is to make sure that JC will lose votes if he saves brexit.

And the "Biggest defeat" in parliamentary history will turn into the "Biggest Comeback"
Or "Betrayal" as some might prefer.

Yes, try the Electric Bike General Discussion Forum Jonathan, with a new thread headed Bickerton.

I've come across most things in my long cycling history but, although aware of them, have never seen a Bickerton in the flesh, let alone ridden one.

But Holyhead is near Wyfla which will have copious amounts of power. Great for the Irish link.

Oh dear... Hitachi pulled out.

(Please ignore the many years we'd have had to wait for it to be built and then produce any electricity.)

My in-box (Continental Telegraph):

Airbus Isn’t Going To Leave The UK, Brexit Or Not. Don’t Be Silly

Another little brick in that pyramid of Project Fear – Airbus will leave the UK if Brexit happens without a deal. The correct response to which is don’t be silly. Wings are the second high tech bit of a modern aircraft after the engines. The making of wings is no more likely to move out of Britain than the Rolls Royce factory making the engines is. There are no tariff issues which will be in operation – planes tend to go in and out of countries quite a lot after all – so it’s all just political posturing:

Airbus warns Theresa May it could leave UK if there’s a no deal Brexit
Nonsense.

Engineering giant Airbus increased pressure on Theresa May with a stark warning it could walk away from the UK if it crashes out of the EU without a Brexit deal. The firm’s chief executive Tim Anders launched a scathing attack on the Prime Minister’s “disgraceful” Government over its handling of the departure. In a direct warning to Mrs May, he said: “Please don’t listen to the Brexiteers’ madness which asserts that, because we have huge plants here, we will not move and we will always be here. They are wrong”.
It’s not the factory which is the point. It’s the labour force. Which isn’t going to move therefore nor is the factory.

There are also no issues of parts crossing borders innumerable times and so on.

Seriously, the company has built its own special planes to move those wings around. People just don’t go to that sort of expense and then shift factory location over some paperwork to cross a national boundary.

Airbus isn’t about to leave the UK over Brexit, deal or no deal.

It is unfortunate but that has nothing to do with Brexit.

And experts actually say it could be for the best anyway.

We are operating at over capacity atm and with new advancements in renewables they may not be necessary at all. We lead the world in renewable energy.

Sorry not prick your misery balloon.

Many thanks, will do, apologies all, it was the exuberance of it all, there's just something about impractical eccentric technology

I've got great weekend planned.

But I will concede your constant lying irks me.

I can't stand liars.
Coming from a leave voter that is, profoundly, ironic. It is of course also delusional. Not that I'd ever dream of accusing a leave voter of nurturing delusions and overvalued ideas. Nudge. Nudge.
