I agree with nearly all that, but I think a second vote is slowly looking more likely.

Personally, I think Corbyn wants out of the EU, but he wants the Tory party to do it. That way he can blame them when he crashes the economy into the ditch.
I think he wants out of the EU, but I don't think he is smart enough to have thought of the rest of your idea. He is from the far left of the LP who have always been opposed to the EU or what ever it was called years ago. Someone said (could have been Peter Mendalson) that JC had not changed his mind on anything since about 1975, I thought he was joking at the time, I now think he is probably right.

I've not seen any opinion polls recently but it would not surprise me if Labour are still behind. With any other leader they would be 30 points plus ahead by now. How bad does it have to get for TM and her government before labour start to see a big lead in the polls?

I see Facebook is failing on Brexit ads again, and the same old leave campaign is trying to hide behind various false addresses to avoid getting into further legal bother

Facebook is failing on Brexit Ads — Again

Just who is behind the mysterious Better Brexit?

Right wing vermin are clearly hard to get rid of, close off one address and they pop out of another trying to subvert the voters.
Which dodgy outfit has replaced Cambridge Analytica, or are they still using the same name?
After all the Government have turned a blind eye to the corruption around the referendum, haven't they?

I suggested to have two questions:

1. Do you want the UK to leave the European Union? Yes/No
2. If you answered Yes to the question above, do you want your government to ratify the proposed treaty? Yes/No

Not voting two times.
Its still a 3 option vote.
Suppose first question was answered yes 66%..no 34%..
Then your Yes was split 33/33..(or in OG maths 50/50)
Would be a nightmare and not just under my scenario.
Its unworkable under any..
Daft for you Woosh.
Once you introduce any kind of 3 option the majority margin is bound to be lower and you can split the vote according to how its worded. Yours splits leavers. Word it differently and it splits remainers.
Your assumption is No would win, which isnt a healthy way to begin a referendum.
Ref 2 should be binary.
No deal or Remain
Our chosen leaders have just voted on May's deal. Should be out the question now. Perhaps May will keep going til she gets a yes..?? Where did she learn that one?

Just popped in to see if you were making your usual level of contribution (Zilch)
Quite possibly I have to agree no doubt I would make a hash of things, but I do actually work for nothing, so think of the economy involved if all politicians did that!
Why we could even afford Brexit!
(Actually that is a deliberate lie as the price is astronomical)
So my usual level of contribution is Zilch but my comments upon the latest shenanigans on the vote in parliament has - therefore - some credit?

OG there is a danger you and I will end up liking each other if we're not careful.

I agree, splitting the leave vote to get an idea of how the leavers want to leave is fraught with difficulty, perhaps too much difficulty.

Even the binary choice is dangerous. People are so frustrated, angered and disillusioned by the performance of our politicians that they could vote no deal in protest. A second referendum, although a possible solution to the deadlock, isn’t easy and is likely to be beyond the capabilities of the establishment to organise and sell to the public.

Maybe a vote tagged on to each General Election is a way forward. Three consecutive leave votes, which would gauge the mood over 10 years, triggering Article 50. But again, a difficult sell to the leave voters unless you are old groaner who would be content to bin their concerns and opinions because they are Idiots and gullible.

Brilliant blistering attack on Corbyn from Michael Gove during the debate yesterday (he also rips into a few others with deft skill and humour).

I'm no great fan of Gove (who is?) - but in my view this was an exceptionally good speech (and before commenting maybe listen it eh?):

Is that really your best effort?
I used to hold the opinion that leave voters were simply misinformed, but you are making a good case to change my opinion that if they are like you...
they are not very bright at all.
It is remarkable that having been taken in by liars like Johnson, Gove, Rees Mogg and co, leave voters protest that people who saw through the loony nonsense are the gullible ones?
And even worse haven't been able to bring themselves to admit it was all a huge mistake to vote for Brexit.
Are you proud of the trouble and distress you have caused through this stupidity?
What do you imagine you will gain from it?

if Yes wins question 1 then we have to leave, which way is answered by question 2.
The election commission can of course offer up more choices in question 2.

great rabble raising, but actually nothing to do with the actual debate,he is right about Corbyn who really is a liability almost as great as Gove himself, though so a far he hasn't been associated with any questionable acts during the referendum campaign that we know of, that should have had him deselected from being an MP, unlike Gove and Boris

zlatan misunderstood my questions. Whether he did that on purpose or not, I can't tell.
The need for asking two questions instead on 1 multiple choice question is to avoid splitting leave votes, the intention is to replicate the first referendum, if the voters have not changed their mind, then a second question offers further choice or choices.
